Squat debate

Goal is to get her butt toned and lookin good. She doesnt want to do squats cause she does a couple different leg press excercises and thinks that is enough. I say she/we need to squat in order to properly tone mid section and the glutes. She also does a kick back machine for her butt. What do you ladies suggest?
 
Get her fuckin ass in the squat rack!!! tell her there is no other exercise that is gonna do it, bc its the truth. get her ass in the rack
 
ok, coming from a woman who has an ELEVEN-inch difference between my hips and waist- if you want a strong core and a round butt, you have to squat. no two ways around it. i haven't leg-pressed in years; squats, deadlifts and lunges are the way to go to get the tight look she wants!

Should squat. Alternatives are available, but not as well-rounded. Try linear leg presses, various squat machines (some like me don't like these), one leg kneeling leg curls, and one leg (flat bench assisted) lunges (can't think of the proper name for this one).
 
Totally agree with EVERYONE...the best asses come from squats! :) Maybe even throw in a sumo-stance hack squat after !
 
We will be doing squats from now on. She reads eveything I post and Im glad to have you experienced ladies help when needed. Cause what do I know im just the husband. Thanks, Thirsy
 
i agree with my ladies!!

squats = lifted rounded firm ass!!!

now i am also a big fan of stiff legged deadlifts because they hit that impossible to get last bit of fat to go right under the glutes where the hamstring starts.. ladies know what i'm talking about!! they work great for hitting that tough spot!!
The butt blaster is great for higher reps and tightening and toning, but not for building or sculpting persay...

i also like to do the stepmill (like a mini escalator) and i take every other step.. brings in my legs pretty nicely...

also we all know i'm a huge fan of plyometrics for women for shaping their lower bodies!!! NOthing works like explosive movements and activating the damn fast twitch muscles!!
