525x1 <<< PR felt good had some more left..i dont mind working my way up but i still havent gotten to a weight where ibve had to truly test myself and grind it out..but ill get there
 
looking good. I may try and squat heavy a week from today, not sure. At least i have something to shoot for, 526, lol.

i think you and i are pretty close, youre bench is better but too bad we're not closer so that we could train together..i got my eyes on your journal bro so makes ure you keep that updated!!!!

lol, i was thinking the same thing. I should be able to get my pull around 550, and my bench around 420 in the next couple weeks. I just keep getting stronger every workout, and my hams are getting stronger, i have not even scratched the surface on my deads, and gms and squats, i am pretty psyched.

i hear ya i can recall not to long ago when doing 315 box squats was tuff to get 5 reps..my back has gotten so much stronger in 9 weeks its crazy..

youll get there i have faith in you.. dawgy and PB will keep us on the right track lol
 
once you guys stall out ill start the injection therapies. nothing like some pbs majic root juice elixir administered anally or orally to get those stubborn numbers moving again. free of charge to first time customers too. what a guy i am......... a real team player. =0l

oh and congrats on the prs guys, thats awesome. hope i hit a pr this weekend at the meet.

pullinbig our kids [ blackbeard and jcp ] are growing up . im right proud of them for seeing the light and worrying more about their squat than measureing their biceps .

i throw them in wherever i have time literally takes 6 minutes..with my tendonitis about the only thing i can do is a cable curl so i do a few quick sets of 12-30 reps

i know it brings a tear to my eye just to think of those two squatting deep in the hole. memories to treasure.
 
Biceps are something that I use to do rows with to help my bench and deads, they help with loading plates too--lol.

Seriously, most guys biceps start growing well when they quit doing all those curls and start rowing and chinning. C'mon, whats gonna provide more stimulation, rows with 350 or 100 lb curls?

most guys cant curl 100lbs properly. they can sling it and throw up. we had a guy at our gym curling (i use the term lightly) the 85lb dbs. he looked like a wounded duck throwing them things around. it was a nice lat, delt, ab, trap, claf, quad, ham, compound movement but not a curl. he finally left, thank god. i think he got tired of us laughing and pointing at him. hehehehhehehehehehehehhehehhe my arms are bigger than his and i dont curl very often. and if i do i do 1 heavy set after back work.
 
PB, i have found that you can literally fry the bi's with about 1 set each of 2 different exercises, to the point of not being able to pick up your arms. I learned this before i started powerlifting type routines.
