When I squat my hands are as wide as you can go.I have a 6'4" wingspan so getting wide isnt a problem and I'm much better balanced for a big squat.Chest up,shoulders back,try to push the back of your head through the bar.Make sure the bar is on your traps,if you're thick enough you'll find it sits there nicely.Pack your lungs with as much air as possible and push out against your belt.
Sit your butt back like a black girls booty,push out with you legs to take it out and squat.Push your knees out on the way down and the way up.The only part of my body that moves when I squat is my legs.I'm like a oak tree from the waist up.
I was taught this method by a IPA pro with a 4 digit squat.
