In August a new sanctioning body was formed to some degree due to much of the negativity surrounding the APF and some of it's "limitations" so to speak.
One topic of interest is there divisions. It has three. Standard, Single ply and unlimeted.
Standard basicly being a raw division but alowing a blast shirt for the bench and a similar support suit fot the squit. For those of you not familier with the blast shirt it adds maybe 20 pounds to your bench but provides enough spuport to prevent some injury.
The single ply is self explanitory and the unimeted is just that. Unlimeted ply of any material.
Each division has two subcatagories of drug tested or open.

I competed raw or standard as the division calls it in bench only and went 3 for three with a 425 opener, 440 and a surprising 460. Needless to say the day went very well for me and I took 1st place.
If you guys get a chance to check out an SSA meet it will be worth your time.
