Starting my cut - Any Advice?

Hey guys. Im 19.5 years old and looking to shed a few BF %'s. Im a full-time college student so I will be doing the best i can to maintain a healthy diet. Anyone have any good supps or stacks that could help me in the process?

Height?
Weight?
Current bf%?
Training exp?
Dieting exp?

The answers to those questions would determine what supps, if any, would be suitable for you :)

I'm about 5'9", 184lbs. Not sure about BF but probably 15-16% after using pictures I've found on here to get an idea. Ive been training for about 1.5 years and have seen great results. went from being the fat kid to the kid who is starting to get "big" haha. Not experienced with dieting really. I end up losing weight periodically from forgetting to eat with all my schoolwork (double majoring in chemical engineering and chemistry). Been better about that lately. Just ran some ostarine for 6wks at 25mgs in an attempt to lean bulk/recomp and was pleased with what I saw. However, most of my fat accumulates in my midsection so I really want that shit to go away.

You need to get your diet on point - diet is 80% of what is needed to get to where you want to be. Definitely add 3 or 4 sessions of cardio a week where your heart rate is kept at around 130bps for 20 minutes or more. But without a good diet (not eating is a VERY bad way to lose weight) all the cardio in the world cannot help you lose weight.

I suggest reading the stickies in the diet section of this forum and looking into hiring 3J (qualified nutritionist) if you find that college keeps you too busy to track your calories/macros consistently.

As for the midsection fat, realistically that wont disappear until your under 10% (its known as stubborn fat for a reason).
At that point, you can look into yohimbe hcl, which helps with stubborn areas ONLY if your already relatively lean to begin with - otherwise its a waste of money & time.

Sounds good. Thanks guys. Its just hectic with exams, research, etc. and still maintaining a diet. This summer should be easier as I will have no excuses for not having my diet and cardio dialed in.

Would low dose ephedrine be of any benefit?

I really am going outside my conservative nature here, but as a fellow engineering major (EE), I do have a way to kill two birds with one stone. Diet is definitely of paramount importance, but I think it may be worth looking into seeing a doctor regarding adderall.

It's a very powerful stimulant that you'll certainly learn to appreciate come upper division coursework midterms and finals. Of course, this is not recommended if you have heart issues or are extremely sensitive to stims. However, under the guidance of a physician, you should be fine. Doctors tend to be sympathetic to STEM students, so I'd look into it while it can serve multiple purposes.

My .02c :)

Thanks for the response halfwit! Yeah I'm a semester/2 semesters ahead of most ChemE's so coursework is getting rough, which stresses the diet. lol. Figured an ECA stack could help, and serve as an incentive to maintain the best diet I can. Just trying to find a way to order it and seeing if it could negatively impact the modafinil I just got. shoutout to study drugs hahah

Bronkaid is the way to go for ephedrine. You can try one tab and see how it goes, I have been fine with it, but I'm pretty tolerant. Lol, I don't know how folks can remember half that shit otherwise.

I truly don't envy your course load as Chem gets so much deeper into reactions - and I'm still scarred for life from stoichiometry haha.

Yeah I just don't have a car here and I go to school out of state so Ill have to do some walking, especially if certain places aren't carrying it. Bronkaid is OTC right? And yeah Chem isn't too bad yet, but its gonna go to shit my junior year when I take physical chemistry haha. I was actually going to do EE and then graduate school for Biomed, but decided to just do chemical.

Yep, OTC from most pharmacies. They will ask for ID, but that's to prevent you from buying enough to make meth. Don't they watch Breaking Bad? Everyone knows you just rob trains to make the good stuff lol.

There's more money in Chem to be honest. Biomed isn't terrible, but you really have to be able to absorb a ton of different angles due to how many different disciplines come together for it. Petroleum is by far the biggest money maker there, which Chem engineering just happens to have in spades. CE's tend to make as much as an EE with a Master's degree, but it is certainly challenging.

Yeah, my goal is grad for either biochemical, biomedical or chemical physics. And to make gains in the process lol. What better way to fund that lifestyle than making 6 figures haha. So, bronkaid looks like my best bet right now. could i stack this with yohimbine as well? Caffeine obviously for the synergistic effect.

I would start by creating a new thread in the female section. That way you can receive advice better tailored to your situation without folks replying to an old thread's original post. :)
