Steroid flu?

I've done many cycles before and never experienced flu-like symptoms from steroid use. But, I've heard of people having this problem. A friend of mine is using the same homebrew prop that I am and says that he is getting flu symptoms after he injects (even fever) and then it goes away until the next injection then it comes back. He went to the doctor and didn't tell him that he was using and they did a CBC and said they couldn't find anything wrong with him. Can anyone explain steroid flu and is what my friend experiencing normal? I would think that if it was an infection that the symptoms wouldn't go away and come back like they are?

I used to get it from a mex test. the BA content was high and my body did not like it at all. swelling, fever, chills and night sweats, not pretty!

A basic body reaction to a foreign substance injected.

I always get it from shots where there is a lot of swelling afterwards, i agree that its likely the body's reaction to a foreign substance

If it only happens right after an injection (esp one like prop) then it is most likly an immune response to the swelling and trama caused by the high BA content. Do keep in mind that all Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) wheather it be human or vet, effect the immune system.

I was having the same problem with t400, It could be a combination of high BA and the prop. I was getting swelling, fever ect.
I just switched from 1cc of t400 per day to 2cc of TV Test250 per day.
No problems

I had a bad batch once, or I was not meticulous enough in keeping things steril and the gear got really dirty. My kidney values were all wonkey, and we could not figure out why. Every time I injected I started feeling sick a few hours later. waste of a half a bottle of spectro Winstrol (winny). DAMN!

Does a person get used to it and the symptoms subside?

depends on what you are shooting. With stuff like enth, I might get the reaction after the first few shots, but then my body gets used to it and its clear sailing. But with the more painfull stuff like suspension, I got the symtoms pretty much every day as long as I ran it, along with brutal swelling

I shot my first hit of Enth on Tuesday. Had to leave work yesterday due to headache, sore throat, etc. Continued today. No body aches and pains though so going to hit the gym now
