Unfortunately for our modern society the civil law does not conform to the moral law. It is the moral law that must always take precedence over the civil law, otherwise any society will inevitably self destruct, (which is and will happen here in the USA).
I always pose this question: If you had a son who was dying from a very rare disease, one in which there was yet no know cure in the USA, but where there is a drug available in Europe which has been highly successful; would you let your son die because importing the drug he needs to save his life would be illegal under curent civil laws, or would you attempt to illeagally import the drug in order to save your son's life? It is your moral responsibily to make every effort to save your son's life, but under current civil laws, attempting to save your son's life would be violating the civil law!!
It is not morally wrong for someone to use, (not abuse), Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) to improve overall health. Middle age men are taking Testosterone for improved health and anyone who is sufferring from any wasting away disease can and will be put on HGH and AAS.
Abortion is legal under the guise that a woman has a right to do what she wants to her own body, (even though it involves the killing of another innocent human being). With that being the standard in which the Supreme Court legalizes the killing of innocent children, shouldn't we all have the right to do what we want with our own bodies?
