Steroids VS TRT?

Can the option to use steroids, a testosterone cycle, say 500 to 600 mg/wk be compared to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Would testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) ever prescribe that much?

Also, from what I've been reading, it seems that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is open ended -- no post cycle therapy (pct) to regain the body's natural testosterone. (Yes, but if testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was needed in the first place, testosterone levels would be abnormally low -- so jump starting natural test production would probably be pointless.)

Also, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) seems expensive. And places I have researched say that once testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) begins, it never ends. It seems daunting to incur that expense monthly indefinately. (I think my test levels could possibly, actually be low.)

Would love to hear thoughts of people with experiences on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), especially those who may have also done testosterone cycles for bodybuilding. I'm trying to decide if the clinical route would be better or the underground route.

The two can't really be compared in my opinion, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) would not be a good replacement for a cycle. Most people are prescribed 100-200 mg/wk. You should definitely get blood work done though if you believe you have low test. Better to know for sure than to be constantly wondering/worried and just put your mind at ease.

I was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for about 9 months and had nothing but problem with gyno and ED problems. I have been off for about 2 months now. I am getting blood work done tomorrow to see where I am I have been very tiered and low sex drive sense I stopped. As for price I have insurance and it was like $10 a month.

kind of two different things. A cycle or steroids as you call it is usually only 12 weeks long and the main goal is to bulk or gain muscle. The typical dosage is usually around 4-600mg per week. usually a cocktail of other drugs is used to keep other hormones in check and drugs are used when off cycle to maintain or recover. Doing a cyle obviously carries some risk or at least more than TRT. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is for people who naturally have low testosterone. The doses for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) usually range from 100-200mg every week sometimes every two weeks. Dont think Ive ever seen a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose above 250 and I dont think 500mg a week would be perscribed for trt. I think if you did that much all the time eventually harm would come to you. Usually on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) it is closely monitored and drugs are legit as sometimes with cycling the drugs are obtained from shady sources although some are able to get it legitaly. Also doing a cycle really is illegal, although I dont think its number one on the cops list to chase it down.

And yes testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is for life and can be exspenive but i get it through a doc and its free, but if you go the clinic route then it can be pricey. What are your goals or what you trying to get it. Really anybody could go on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if they wanted, im sure you can find a clinic or even get the stuff black market. But most docs and clinics are not going to perscribe the stuff unless you have a need. Also if you dont need it a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dosage im sure would help you but in the end probably wont be enough to get you buff. Plus if you dont need it its going to be an added cost going to give you problems you dont need and its something you will do for life.

I guess I can feel some age starting to kick in -- I'm 32 and I feel more tired, lower sex drive, more belly fat, etc. However, I still think it's too early to start a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) cycle because I don't have insurance currently and I think it can wait until I'm closer to 40.

I'm more interested in a test cycle geared to build muscle.

Thanks for the input guys!

No prob just remember testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is not a cycle its forever. If you dont have insurance im not sure how much the stuff cost

I could be wrong, but I don't think very many of us can use our insurance for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), unless it's the creams....

pointles because Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is ment to stay on for LIFE! what are you looking for exactly, are you or are you not in need of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) having low test levels or are you lookign for a cycle?

i stopped after first period...

HRT is HORMONE REPLACMENT THEARAPY! that means they REPLACE your test if you have low levels. and replacing means NORMAL AMOUNTS like 75-150mg ew NOT 400mg, 500mg ect.

HRT is NOT a test cycle.

good luck

Not true, depends on your doc and the insurance. MANY MANY men are on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) with injects and dont pay (insur), but yet MOST will push creams. but its your body, find another doc if he wont give it to you.

if you dont have insurance for it id go INTL for test.

Our programs are very inexpensive, and far less risky than ordering anything online. I cant imagine why someone on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) would try to get anything over seas. If your only using testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doses and a bottle last's you 10 weeks or more, the cost difference between us and doing something illegal is negligible. As a matter of fact it would probably cost you less than 4 dollars per week more.

On top of that our staff is the most knowledgeable on the planet, that I can assure.

Ehh going online or INTL for drugs specially something like this, I think your better off playing russian roulette. I have been through a few clinics and want to know a price on everything but they want to run through pages of paperwork, and pay 200 bucks to get test and such. Which fine Ill do all that but I want to know what something liket this cost just a estimate and they play the car salesman game, so needless to say ill stick with my doc for now.

i see alot of people on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) blasting and crusing, so u can stay on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), after ur blast and not ever have to come off test... just food for thought!

and as imt stated, its very inexpensive depending on who u run with.

and im sorry testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) IS NOT FOR LIFE, as cashout did his own restart and is doing great from our last conversation, he has a thread somewhere on here about doing a pct restart,

its all about the person and there are other options such as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) monotherapy, clomid restarts, and even using clomid alone will increase ones test, so its all about the path one decides to follow...

ive got clomid on the way and plan to try it out to see if i can do a restart, never used any aas, so i hope it works, as pinning is getting tiresome,

You must not be talking with us. We are very up front with the cost's to get started, you shouldn't generalize and put us all in the same pool, there are a few companies out there that are honest and up front with there patients, IMT being one of them.

Not naming names thats why I said clinics. If you want me to not generalize I will, but you may not like it. Thats why I generalized. Sorry that was my experience and just stating that to the OP and others.

You are right its not for life, but for most people it is. But everybody is different. usually rule of thumb is your hooked for life.

You can say what ever you want, this is America. We know what kind of service we provide. If you have a problem with IMT I would like to know about it, after all it was most likely me you spoke too.

I have done both. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), if needed is FANTASTIC and really helps you feel normal. If you don't need it, after blood tests, never start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) just look in to actual cycles with PCT.

Thanks man, this was a question I had once on another forum but didn't get an answer ... any idea how to get blood tests done with no insurance? I'd like to get my test levels before I start a cycle (and while I'm at it, to see if I should be looking into TRT). I think knowing my test levels beforehand would give me a good indication as to where they should be after PCT.

Privatemdlabs will cost you about $50. Do a search on this website and you will find info n doing this. Make sure you find a coupon code to get it down to $50.
