Today I was in a funk. Just didn't feel any drive or desire to do much at all. I am once again on-call for work and was called into work on an emergency call so spent some hours at work. The rest of the day my little girl and I hung out, she is my sunshine on my grey days. My wife was at work today, so wasn't going to be able to get into the gym until she got home anyway. We made food, ate, hung out for a bit and by that time I got the call for work. I really have no excuses except for just being lazy today and not going to the gym like I needed to, but taking it as a day to rest. I do need to be eating more, although I seem to be up about 8-9 pounds, I can already see that I am not taking in enough calories daily. Going to map out this week's meals and make a better effort to eat what I need to be. Also I am not on-call for work this week, or scheduled to work any overtime so nothing foreseen to get in the way of my training. I will hit the gym tomorrow no excuses.

On another note, my damn right quad is still jacked up from my injection on Tuesday. I must have hit a nerve because I started feeling some pain in my hip and knee where the nerve is in those locations. I have iced it, heated it, Ibuprophen, all the above and still tight as heck, guess I need more practice on hitting the quads. Any suggestions or tricks? Thought I hit it right where it needed to be, WRONG!!!

My day started out by going into work on a call, then spending the day with my daughter. I am just basically burnt out from working and need to take some time off. My mood was ok today, thank heaven for my little girl to keep daddy's mood lifted. I have been getting tired towards the afternoon hours, to the point I want to lay down and take a nap, I would think the opposite being on, but maybe I am just in need of some sleep and rest.

Today was a nice treat because I was able to spend some time with my family at the beach in the afternoon!

My appetite hasn't been the greatest as you can see, not even close to eating enough, so will have to pick that up this week for sure.

Better today, strength is slowly increasing, and all muscle are tight and full. I was able to eat a little better today, drama still following me a bit...had to kind of force feed myself to get some calories down. Had to talk to a few brothers of mine to get through the shit I was dealing with...shit basically made me rethink some things in regards to my family and what is most important to me. It was also kind of nice today not to have to have an injection...the prop gets kind of annoying after a while lol...but I feel really good while on it, catch 22!

Today I felt ok, just the past few days right after I eat at 1 pm, I am hell of tired!! The afternoon at work just drags on, and just really sick of this drained feeling. Possibly just mixtures of hard work, emotions from the drama in the beginning of the week, the humid weather, or just tired! I left work an hour early today, came home and just chilled...fell asleep, woke up and ate...managed to stay awake for another hour to get a shake in me and hit the pillow. Still feeling the muscle tightness, recovery has been pretty easy, just waiting for all of this to really kick in and do its magic.

Tired...no energy, didn't want to do a damn thing. I trained and went to work, but just wasn't all there. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me at times, have a great life, family, and job/career, love training, been having quite a bit of sex with the wife...whenever I am on, it is game on!!! She knows this too and rises to the occasion...although I am on the computer tonight, so what does that tell you...night off!!!

I have been drinking plenty of water, and at the end of my fast I have a ton of energy...then I eat at 1 pm and tanked!!! So obviously is the food and digestion, but that sucks because I have to eat and then I am dragging ass! Hopefully something changes here.

My day started out good, did a good are workout targeting more triceps since they haven't been hit hard in a while due to my tendon/ligament in my left elbow...kind of a burning pain when aggravated. Was able to warm it up and train through...going to get one of those support sleeves for a while and have chiro look at it for me. Meanwhile ice and Ibuprofen! Didn't eat that well today, just wasn't hungry! We are just about finishing up week #3 and still have around 5 shots of prop left to take, then the Cyp should be kicking in, and EQ shortly thereafter. Can't wait!!!

I owned that bar and plates...nice and parallel, knees were wrapped, belted, with a good spot...but it was all Muscle!!! Then hitting those Leg Presses after...I need to find a way to add more weight...put people up on the sled!

Day started out great! This is the first weekend in a while that I have not had to carry the pager for work which is fucking nice! Granted the cash is nice, but my freedom is better lol! So I hit the gym for legs and my little girl came with daddy to the gym and watched a movie on the computer while I trained, then her and I had a nice breakfast at my buddy's restaurant across the street from my gym, then went and bought her some new boots for school (Bearpaws...like Uggs but cheaper lol), then went to the park where I used to take her as a baby in the city we used to live in, then came home and enjoyed a nice afternoon at home on the coast...can't get any better than that! My wife came home and we BBQ some steaks, hung out and had fun! Obviously my mood was pretty damn good today!

My strength is increasing, muscles are solid, and I am currently weighing in at 235 lbs. Lets just keep moving forward and not worry about too much at this point, Test Cyp and EQ doesn't kick in really for another week or so...but feeling the Prop & Tbol I suppose!

I am feeling good, strong, full muscle bellies, that wellbeing feeling you get from being on cycle...the feeling of test! I am really enjoying the gear, it is legit for sure and still just starting the 4th week of the cycle. Fucking feels like the time is flying by and I should be doing more, so will hit chest and calves good tomorrow, need to do some cardio as well.

Good day for a Monday...that I don't have to work lol!!! Normal routine of taking my little angel to school, went to the gym to train chest and calves...and my tendon/ligament in my left elbow was bothering me quite a bit. For the training I started out slow and light, had to grit through some of the discomfort, tried different exercises to try and take it out of the equation...and had a pretty good chest workout overall...dumbells didn't seem to bother it as much as barbell and Hammer Strength presses. Fucking pain is like a burning sensation right at the tip of the inside of my elbow. So ice and Ibuprofen, and went and picked up a compression sleeve for my elbow to see if it will help. This is what I grabbed, which was the only one they had that fit my arm lol. The clerk that was helping me was like "wish I had your problem", thought that was kind of funny.

Still that Alpha Male feeling coming over me, when I was done with each set of DB presses, when I stood up from the bench and was holding the DB's and staring at all the veins and muscles just ripping through the skin, wish I had a shot of that to post...it was sick, and motivating to me...progress!!! I will try and get my wife to take some good pictures the end of this week for 4 week progress photos.

I apologize about the delay in updating my log here, has been a busy week...but haven't missed a day of the program.

I am currently weighing in at 235 pounds, still pretty lean, at least leanest in the morning.
 
Damn...well it took me some searching to find my poor log, it has been a week already since I have given an update and I truly apologize for my absence, but have legitimate reasons.

My mom had hip replacement surgery like I mentioned earlier in the thread last Tuesday, and was hospitalized for 3 days until we brought her home on Friday. The family has been caring for her around the clock 24/7, and I have been traveling back and forth for the past 3 days from home to her place, staying the night and days with her, and taking care of mom. What a major surgery that is, and just relearning and helping her walk again with a prosthetic hip joint in her body with so many limitations she has...crazy, but I have learned a lot from a PT stand point for her. So I have been to the gym 3 times in the past week, and feeling down about that, so was planning to kill legs this morning...and then here comes my poor little girl into the bedroom this morning with a 102.2 temperature sick as fuck! Deep wheezing, congestion, crying she feels so horrible, it put me in tears. So I am now taking care of her, my oldest daughter is at grandmas taking care of her, my wife is at work, and this is life.

I will get on the computer in a little bit to bring this log to current, which I will keep it brief due to not much really to update besides 3 workouts and my nutrition, but honestly this past week was not about me...it was about family and putting my stuff to the side for mom. I am the only man for 3 households so it can be challenging, but hey...it is what it is.

Mom had to be at the hospital today for hip replacement surgery at 6 am. I did not have any opportunity to hit the gym at all, nor really a moment for myself lol. Between the hospital, picking up my daughter from school, trying to eat healthy, keeping communication open with all the family members, making sure mom was ok after the surgery...I was kind of a wreck!!! It really sucks to see your own mom go through such a major surgery, and all she has really is me and my wife...and grandchildren of course, but it really comes down to me and my wonderful, kick ass wife of mine!!! She really has done a lot when it comes to taking care of our family and our moms. She had to work today, but was off and at the hospital in record time after. I brought my cooler around with me with my supplements and some food to eat, and shakes of course, but still wasn't enough. The girls wanted Chinese food for dinner, so we went to Panda Express...yuck!!! Well, the Orange Chicken is pretty good, and I had the Shanghai Beef w/veggies as well...but just thinking of how it was prepared kind of turned me off but I ate it anyway lol!!! I got home and once the little one was in bed...I was out!!!!

Mood/Feeling:

Was all over the place today, no training, nutrition suffered, still got in my supplements, ate what I could that was decent...but between the hospital, picking my daughter up from school, taking her to art class, errands for my mom and getting her place ready for her to come home when she is discharged...the day was kind of a blur!!! I am going to leave it as this...although I do remember that the wife and I had some really incredible sex when we had a moment of time alone in our house when nobody was home...which is very rare!!! I must have went at it for 45 minutes hard before I blew, and she had already came twice before we both did for the final...so there was my exercise for the day :D. My sex drive is through the fucking roof when I am on it...and my wife is loving it when we have the opportunity due to she says the size gets bigger when on cycle as well...can't complain there!!!

Drank some shakes throughout the day, apples, peanut butter, oh and had some Sushi...actually lots of Sushi, again tuna, tortillas, fruit, and stuff like that. Sorry for the vague update here...again, just going off of memory and not much of one lol.

Mood/Feeling:

Mom was discharged out of the hospital today in the afternoon, but was able to get a workout in due to my wife being the fucking awesome woman she is! We both took my little girl to school and then she went running with her girlfriend since she is supposed to be training for a mini triathlon the second weekend of October, but due to all of this going on her training has suffered a bit as well...and I went to the gym while she ran.

My left Tricep tendon/ligament was really bugging me today which is why my weights suffered a bit today. I used my compression sleeve for my elbow, but it still wasn't feeling it...and the feeling I had was that I would make it worse if I pushed too hard, so just backed off of it a bit, stayed smart, and just was blessed that I was able to push some weights today!

We picked up my mom from the hospital around 3 pm after we had a session with her physical therapist, and got her into the comfort of her own bed. She was pretty worn out, so after making us all a healthy home cooked meal, giving her meds, my wife and daughter went home and I stayed at my mom's for the night until my nephew came over in the morning so I could go and get my daughter from home so my wife could go to work at 6:45 am. This day was a better day than the previous three days due to I was able to train, so my mood was better and I had a better sense of wellbeing due to I wasn't feeling like I was wasting my cycle for three days...but life throws us curve balls once in a while, and we have to live our life for others rather than ourselves. That is really what being a man is all about right!?!?!

Fucking awesome today!!! Was able to get another solid training session in today and since I trained in the afternoon was able to have a meal prior to hitting the iron...helped a little bit with the heavier weights! Although I do not like to train in the afternoon due to the heat, and just accustomed to training first thing in the morning...it really felt tougher! I was also relieved by my daughter and nephew who stayed with their grandma for the night so I was able to come home, watch the UFC fight, and sleep in my own bed with some fun time with the wife again ...I think she gets hornier when I am on cycle as well lol!!! She pays extra special attention to certain things which is good for me, and when she is done I kill her off!!! So yes very good day today, and will have tomorrow off so I don’t have to stress off of when I can get to the gym as I have mom to take care of tomorrow!!!

Energy levels are better than before, and muscles are dense and full...shit is really starting to kick in!!!

Mood/Feeling:

My little girl woke up with a 102.2 fever this morning...if it is not one thing it is another! So had to stay at home with her...poor thing...until my wife got off of work so I could then head over to take care of my mom. I was not able to train today, so will have to make it up tomorrow.

Today was my last injection of Test Prop...yes we are already 4 weeks into this cycle...and I have mixed feeling about it. I have been so preoccupied with caring for my family, not complaining, just haven't been able to put in the work I needed to this past week and feel a bit down about it. I will put forth more effort for the remainder of the week, even train for the next 4-5 days straight and then take Sunday off, and see how I feel after this. So I have 2 more weeks of Tbol and just Test Cyp & EQ injections 2x EW (Mon-Thur) until we start Var later down the road.

My Tricep tendon is still giving me grief, everytime I bump my elbow into something it sends me through the roof in pain...so will continue to ice, massage, and Ibuprophen it to get it feeling better, because it really has been inhibiting me from pushing reps beyond where they need to be.

My mood, sense of well being, energy are all ok...was hoping for some more energy but really doesn't seem like I am getting enough sleep...I still wake up groggy and lack of energy. Maybe just due to emotional and physical stress from the week of running all over the place caring for mom and the family, so lets get through this week and see how things are...and get some solid training sessions under my belt for the week.
