Sub-q or IM injections of test c

I switched from gels to injections a few weeks ago. I had been injecting sub-q for few weeks. When I saw the doctor this Monday, I told him this. He told me this was not as good, says it doesn't absorb as well. I had done a 100mg sub-q the day before, and I told him this. He told me to do a 200mg IM that day. I was a little hesitant, but did it. Wants me to take 1 mg of arimidex 3 times a week. I followed this protocol all week, and I had spontaneous boners friday. But I was so fatigued, I could hardly stay awake. Not sure why I was so fatigued. Today I feel fine. Anyways, is IM better than sub-q?

Where did you get the idea that you didn't inject IM. Really???
Also at that dose of Arimidex ?? you are probably crashing your E2. Who is the guy?

You are soooooooooooo fatigued because you most likely just crashed your estradiol taking that much adex!!! That is way too much.

Subq injections are fine if you are ok with the lumps you can get under your skin. They do absorb slower, but that is alright. Guys do it this way to, in theory, get less aromatization. And not get scar tissue in the muscle. But most guys seem to switch to IM injections due to the lumps. You have to inject smaller volumes if doing subq which would mean more frequent injections.

Sounds like your doc is a little off base on TRT.

3 mg of Adex is way too much.
YIKES!!!!!!
guys on 3 k iu HCG are not using that much ADEX a week and they are aromatzing way more than you.

Exactly what Megatron and Apollon said. Don't inject more than half a cc of oil and while injecting, don't squeeze the fatty tissue too hard. You may get a lump or...you may not. But it will slowly be absorbed and go away. The 3 mg of Adex is crazy. I would cut that down to 1/2 a tab a week only if needed.

But I feel fine, other being a little tired today.

Well then Meg, that makes two doctors at this same clinic that are.

I did not take any arimidex today. How long do you think I should lay off of it, and at what dose should I start up. I took my 80mg IM shot yesterday. I will take the another one Thursday night. I feel like I do absorb better doing IM injections.

The only thing I am feeling is lack of energy. But this could be from melotonin I take at night, because I have a hard time falling to sleep. I wake up groggy, and can't seem to shake it. But on another note, I had great erections Friday, from taking melanotin 2, so if my E2 were low, would I be able to have erections?

Anyways, you guys are giving the impression that 1mg 3 times a week is way too much.

Everyone is different. I recently showed three different sensitive estradiol readings of under 5. My joints hurt to all hell, I was tired and foggy, but... I woke up with wood daily. No libido, but wood was no problem.

I personally wouldent start at anything over. 25mg every other day. That might even bump you too low but at least it's reasonable.

0.25 mg ADEX E3D seems a safe/decently effective dose till you are dialed in if starting off with a.i. to lower minor elevations in Estradiol.

10/4, that would also be fine. According to Crisler's guides - his starting dose is .25 EOD.

For me, .25eod is still crashing my E2 pretty hard. Have a feeling that at 100mg a week, I won't be needing an AI.

I don't think I am too low, as my joints do not hurt. And I guess I can't go on erections as a guage. There is a guy on another forum that says he can't get an erection to save his life if his E2 is too low. Everybody is so different with the side effects of low E2. I read too that if your E2 is low, it makes ED meds ineffective. They have not been working too good lately.

I will wait until thursday, and take .25mg. I will try the .25mg E3D protocol. I appreciate all of your input, as obviously, I can't totally rely on my doctors input. Thanks guys.

Also - this stuff isn't immediate. As in, when I crushed my E2, it took almost a week before the joints started. Everything with hormones takes time. As these guys are saying, that's such a high dose (3mg a week) that its nearly impossible you aren't too low. Unless you are grinding out loads of test and HCG, no chance 3mg a week keeps you in check.

Jim, so it's almost guaranteed that I am too low. I'm telling you, this is messed up. This doctor told me to take this much, and everyone on here says that this is way too high. So I have taken 3mg in the last 7 days. When should I start taking it again?

I am doing 160mg of test a week, no hCG. I do take 25mg of clomid 3 times a week. I know I know, people say you are not supposed to do this, but again, this is what the doctor prescribed. And my nuts have not shriveled, so it must be working.

Well don't panic. Thats what I do and it never fixed anything haha. It's hard for me to tell you to defy the Dr, especially since in another thread, I responded to someones suggestion with how I wanted to obey my Dr.

Anyway, 3mg is too much. It just is. You either need to talk to him, or adjust yourself. It won't kill you, its just going to suck if you keep it up. Hell, 2mg a week put me to <3 sensitive E. I woulden't put 100% of your trust in anyone around here, just take what is said as suggestions. You can always tell the Dr when you speak again, your joints started to ache like crazy, so you researched it and decided the adex dose was way too high. If it was me, I woulden't torture myself, and I would do .25 EOD or E3D, and stick with it so you can atleast get some bloodwork. Once you pick a dose, you need to keep it for a while so things level out.

As far as the crash and coming back up... tough to say. If you are really low - it can take weeks to climb back up. I am in the same situation and its slowly creeping. I lowered dose to .25 EOD, then 2.5 E3D, now I'm less than .25 twice a week, and will likely keep droping to no adex at all. I would just lay off it for a few days, potentially longer, then come back on at a reasonable dose.

Sorry man, but there isn't one right answer.

I'll just lay off adex for a while. Thanks.

Do you guys really think my fatigue is because my E2 is too low. I have been fatigued for weeks with last Friday being the worst. Because I thought higher T was supposed to solve this.

Yes. As I said before, you are taking a monster insanely high adex dose.

Quit over-thinking it and give it time to work. Come back here in 2 weeks after no arimidex and tell us how you feel. I would lay off the clomid also. Polypharmacy is not the best way to approach TRT...IMO...

This fatigue is an ass kicker. I have read that's its better to have high E2 than low E2.

Meg, do you think I even need an AI if I do 50mg twice a week?

I didn't at 50mg/week but that doesn't mean you won't. everyone is different so get blood work to see.
