Subq site hurting?

Whats up guys,
I did my 4th HCG subq pin yesterday. The first three i injected in my right lower abdominal area and they went fine, but yesterday i thought id switch it up and do the left lower ab.

Well now a day later the site hurts to touch and is slightly hard feeling...is this normal w subq? just cause its a foreign injection area?

After doing my first Test pin a month ago this happened to my quad which everyone says is normal but this is the first time its done this w the HCG pin.

It will happen. Make sure to use a new needle each pin. I find random places tough to pin often, when all else fails I stick the upper inner thigh areas. Always tender soft skin there

You probably just hit a sensitive area. Should be nothing to worry about as long as you are using sterile techniques.

okay cool, and yeah the needle was brand new and sterile.

If there's a lump and it hurts to the touch, my money is on an abscess. I'd get that checked out to be safe. I've got one in the thigh at the moment.
