Sun/Wed or Mon/Thur

Just got my gear (customer service and delivery was the best) and ready to start. I work out 5 days a week Mon-Fri. Some Sat. but those are lite days. Also I work out at 4:00 am. So my question is dose it matter what days I pinn. Dose Sunday matter for a Mon. morning workout?? And thanks for ur guys help!!!

Halfwit and Bhrees make good points. Bhrees helped me with my pin schedule by telling me that it's going to hurt for 2-3 days after your pin, especially virgin muscle.

I'd schedule it around training days. For example, I train Wed/Thur and Sat/Sun so I pin Wed/Sat. This allows me to rest Friday when virgin muscle is the worst (IMO) and then Sat. so I can rest Mon/Tues (2-3 days after pin).

Just consider this: virgin muscle WILL hurt. There's no way around this, just plan accordingly and stay on schedule.

I wish it was Sunday already... Cant wait. Its like X- Mas eve. U know like a kid in a candy store. U get my point!!!

I pin Monday/ thursday. I always look forward to pinning, always start to get anxious for the next one.

First time pinning right? Just remember to keep breathing lol. I have a friend that passed out while pinning for the first time because he hyperventilated and woke up a minute later with the needle still in his leg haha.
I pin today later in the evening. You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to it. :)

:( M-W-F for me, weekends are low-carb days too - definitely would hate life on them if not for the quality family time. :)

Yeah.. Thats funny as fuck.. It shold be all good. I have researched evrything, I think. The one part I (get but dont like is pulling back once the needle is in to see for blood, I always thought no air was supposed to get in the needle, but thats why you do ur homework.)Once again thanks for everything guys!

Ugh, I hate commenting on aspiration (pulling back for blood) because while it's not necessary, many still swear by it and refuse to inject without aspirating first. I haven't aspirated once in the little over three years I've been pinning (TRT/cycles) ever since I was told NOT to by several nurses and my doctor. Again, I'm not telling you that you shouldn't, but if you don't want to, you don't NEED to. (If it makes you feel safe, by all means - do it.)

It takes a CRAZY amount of air injected into the muscle to cause any adverse reactions. It's intra-venous injections that the whole air embolism problem comes into play - you're not going to be injecting into a vein as long as you inject in the proper locations and even then, it's rather difficult to keep a vein open without trying. I'm sure one of our many RN's on here can attest to that. In fact, I (oh dear, another controversial topic here) intentionally leave a teensy air bubble inside as it helps to clear out the barrel/needle of any excess oil. This is known as a conservation technique, and is widely practiced in the medical community.

Note: If you are uncomfortable with any of the practices I personally do, PLEASE do not follow them. I'm not looking to argue with anyone on this as I have done ad nauseam in the past. :bootyshak

nurses are taught not to aspirate because they believe that if they hit an vain that the syringe will fill, this is not the case, if you hit a vital organ, blood will go into the syringe, if you pin through a vain, your syringe doesn't get all bloody, always aspirate for air, dont be an idiot who pokes gear directly into his vain

HAHA. Dont mean to laugh but that was funny.

I am about to start my first cycle (Test only) in 2 weeks. Just waiting for my doctors appointment and the pre cycle bloodwork from the private lab. Sucks that I cant do everything at the doctors.

In my opinion, I think rookies should ALWAYS aspirate, especially their entire first cycle if not their second as well. Reason being is that I believe that during your first (even a second) cycle, the user is still learning how much "area" he has to do a proper IM injection so that they know where their nerves are in the site. After the user feels comfortable enough to not aspirate, they can do as they wish. I doubt some users even aspirate let alone push the air out of the syringe before an injection anyway.

That's just my opinion and the opinion of some co-workers who have other jobs as RN's and Dentists. Do I aspirate? Yeah, especially since it's my first cycle and until now, I've only read and watched videos of IM pins. Eventually, I will not aspirate once I know where I am pinning but at that point most users on these kinds of boards have claimed they can "feel" the needle in the muscle.

Yeah, gotta hate the waiting game, but it's sooo worth it. ;)

You won't get an argument from me on this. I totally feel that whatever folks are comfortable with is what they should do as the mind can play some powerful tricks on you if you have even the slightest bit of anxiety or nervousness. I can't say that I necessarily feel the muscle, but I do know when I hit old scar tissue - it's like trying to push through a block of cheese lol. Sadly as nerves are so tiny, it's damn near impossible to *know* where they are, so I still hit one of those little bastards every so often - sending my leg into orbit! :wiggle:

Yes, the mind can play some dirty tricks when you're just starting out, making you think you'll hit a billion nerves on the way in, pin into a vein or anything that for the most part doesn't happen unless you're careless. I'm not trying to argue with you, my friend. :) Just stating that I believe rookies should go by the book for their first cycle, but after that they can do whatever they want. It's just a helpful tool for the rookie to know how much room he has to work with in his body to help him in the future with more aggressive cycles.
