why is that? as I see it only hinderS gains ?

what side effects did you encounter ?
Are you responding to my post? If so, I don't know how omega-3fa would "hinder" gains. If anything they will gaurd against your lipid profile from going into the toilet.

I always add supplements during cycle and post cycle therapy (pct) to help cholesterol levels - fish oil and lecithin taken at least 3 x daily among other natty supps.

^^^ yea, i think thats a great idea... all the supps i listed are things im taking during my cycle. i dont have omega fatty acids though. Cant you get that from egg yolks and fish?

You could but it would be tough. It's only deep cold water fish that have it in high concentrations and even then you would have to eat quite a bit to get enough. Bulknutrition has 1g Fish oil caps by Optimum Nutrition for cheap.

Go to your local nutrition store and buy a large bottle of UDO's choice...It has all the EFA you need,IMO hands down the best omega supp. One more thing...if you need another way to supp some of your fat intake Twin Lab makes a great MCT oil(orange flavor is the best)I always use it when I'm dieting down.

Just remember, you need omega-3's from FISH OIL...products like Flax Seed oil are not nearly as effective. Their omega-6's cannot be converted in the body to a significant degree to be of use.

Thanks alot fellaws. so you for the most part only need omega 3's...what about 6 and 9?
Any weight trainer with a decent diet gets plenty of 6 & 9 with food alone, especially if you're eating to gain weight.

Many claim that the core problem is that our balance of omega-3:omega-6 if way off. That is, we we almost all omega-6 in our typical diet but little omega-3.

My lipid profile has always come up perfect. Never used any of those supplements or the Omega 3s. Ive gone 6 months switching test, deca, eq dbol suspemnsion, winstrol eat right and my lipids have never been high.

Everyones different but ive seen one study after the next dismissed as bull after everyones bought the products for a couple of yrs and cashed in.

The fish oil i wouldnt argue with but i dont think its necessary.

One day butters good for ya, the next its margerine. One day Glucosamine chondroiton is a miracle worker, the next its useless.

I understand your skepticism of the supplement industry, they haven't exactly demonstrated that they are the most ethical people around. However, there are some supplements that have so much research behind them that I think their benefit is indisputable:
1. Vitamin C
2. Vitamin E
3. Fish Oil
4. Green Tea
5. Multivitamin
6. Ca/Mg

I respect your opinion. I agree on the Vitamins and Green Tea has been something I've been interested in. Hell, I love tea anyway so i couldnt go wrong.

The benefits of fish oil go _way_ beyond the lipid panel. Fish oil might not even help the lipid panel, but the overall benefits of fish oil are very significant.

And yes, there was one recent study that questioned some of the benefits of fish oil. But a single study certainly does not override twenty years of research which all claim otherwise.
