Sustanon250 home brew

Hey guys,

I have 100g sustanon250 powder from a trusted source. (I have never used any of his products, but know others that have)

This powder is premixed and ready to go.

Here is my ratio:
400ml oil
100g powder
8ml ba
72ml bb

I know that I need to put the ba, bb and powder in the beaker.
Being a newbie to home brew im going to break it down.

Step 1: Sterilize area, counters, stove, etc.

Step2: Sterilize tools, crimpers etc.

Step3: Pan and water on stove, heat

Step4: Measure powder in beaker on scale

Step5: Place beaker in water on stove, put in BB and BA, and stirs with glass rod.

Step5A: Place oil in beaker in same pan on stove.

Step6: After a few minutes you can add in the powder to the BA\BB solution, watch for it to start to break down, then add in your warm oil, this will prevent the solution from crashing later.

Step7: Prepare your bottling area. Crimpers, bottles, stoppers etc. Some people like to bake the vials after washing them in alcohol; you can boil them in distilled water too, they will need to be removed with crimpers, you can place them on a sterile cookie sheet. Turn on the stove to 250 deg.

Step8: turn off the heat on your pan with water, the mixture should be dissolved completely, stir the mixture.

Step9: prepare your 18g pin, your 22g pin and your filters. (1 wattman filter will do 100ml)

Step10: Move your sterile bottling supplies closer to your mixture area (I like to pull the bottles right out of the water with the tongs (I place 6 bottles on the cookie sheet, because I use a 60ml syringe), draw up some of your mixture in your syringe (mine is 60, so I draw 60.5 or 61), attach 18g pin and filter.
Fill your 6 10ml bottles and cap immediately.

Step11: repeat till you’re finished. Switch your filter at 100ml.

I am making 40 bottles sust250@250mg per ml.

I purchased filtered GSO, but herd that I can use stuff from costco! its much cheaper.

I have wattman filters.

I dont have a glass rod, what else can i stir with?

How do i sterilize my bottles? It just says to boil them here in distilled water.

Sorry for such a long post, but I want to do it right, research lots first, then make a mess ;)

Thought I would add my bottles are uncapped non sterile.

I have caps, do I have to sterilize them too?

Filters are .22

Some things I am worried about:

The solution crashing so it ends up cloudy or with the snow flake effect.
Bacteria and bad stuff getting into my body!

I have a digital thermometer, but unsure how hot my solution needs to be.
Believe the melting point of sust250 is like 155c but i highly doubt it needs to be that hot.

When\IF i let it cool, what temperature is best to start the filtering process? 70?

I was reading some other threads, and how does coloring your brew work?
It would have to be a sterile compound I would think. Not to mention your injecting that into your body.....

I Have decided to do it in several batches, need to learn brewing.

First batch 50ml
oil 30.63ml
powder 12.5g
ba 1ml
bb 9ml

Your process looks good, there are just a few things I would change.

If not using EO then bump your BB% up to 18%. Also, use methyl alcohol and a vial brush to disinfect the opened vials instead of boiling in water. You see, water has a tendency to make gear crash. So boiling things in water and using can still have trace amounts of water left. Wrap a cookie sheet with a new skin of foil, wipe it down with Iso alcohol then wash your vials with Methyl Alcohol, set the vials upside down on the cookie sheet and bake em' at 350 until completely dry along with your beakers. Use a glass thermometer long version as your stir rod.
Next time buy the individual Sustanon compounds separately and mix em' in proper proportion and make sure you shake the bag up well with ur current powder. Those 4 compounds need to be in the proper proportion and mixed together would be slightly impossible (IMO) to get exact.

Looks pretty good though, keep us posted.

jstarks11,

I dont have a vial brush or methyl alcohol. How about rubbing alcohol 90%? Peroxide perhaps?
I could get a metal brush, or a brush that is used to clean stainless steal containers from the drug store?

Was going to play around a little tonight, Can I scrub them another way and put them on the cookie sheet?

I thought it would be easier to buy the already mixed powder for my first run...Will buy individual next time. (depending on the cost of course)

Can i put my powder into a Tupperware container and stir it with a straw? or tongue depressor? Spoon perhaps?

Do you wear gloves during this whole process?

Go down to Lowes/Home Depot, and go to the paint section and there are little brushes that are basically a stem of galvanized metal twisted up with a fluff of brisels at the last like 2 inches they are chemical resistant and use these to plunge in and out of your vials. They are basic laboratory brush cleaners to go into the necks on flasks etc. You can order them from your favorite lab glass supplier.
Rubbing alcohol works great to sterilize but it is no better than Methyl alcohol and much more expensive!
Always bake your vials/beakers after an alcohol bath.
The more dry your brewing process is, the smoother the process goes. Invest in a Heating/Stirplate combo and some teflon stir bars, nice even heating and no worries that some of that steam from stovetop brewing is condensing back down into your brew.

I was looking at the HS4000, hot plate and stirrer in one.
Need to wait a few months tho. stuff aint cheep, but sure does make the process go smoother.

One really good place to get your laboratory supplies is to have a friend that goes to school at one of your local UNIVERSITIES especially one that focuses alot in the medical field and their Organic Chem, Gen Chem, and Biochem labs are loaded with ANYTHING u could possibly need to do this stuff and alot of the time they have old equipment that is in the backs of the shelves that has been replaced by newer stuff that I'm sure they wouldn't mind you borrowing, lmao.........
Happy hunting!

Ok the powder is white and crystal like, sickly sweet smell, kind of like ass and fruit hahah.

110ml liquid total

67.38ml Oil
27.5g powder
2.2ml BA
19.8 BB

Heated oil seperate tempeture not taken.
Heated Powder, BB and BA till clear
added oil
Let rise to temp of 153.5F on digital thermometer.
Bottled at temp of 124.5

Bottles were scrubbed inside with a baby bottle nipple cleaner from London Drugs (anti bacterial soap used), rinsed in solution (95% alch, 243ml, 1.5 bottles of tap water 486ml), baked, cooled, washed a second time, rinsed and baked again.
Tops both the stopper and flip top were washed as well. (I dont think the flip tops need to be done at all.

Not sure what this is on the bottom of my beaker, but dam...
Its on the inside of the beaker, no idea what it is.
There was only filtered grape seed oil in this beaker.
This beaker was not sterilized with the others. It was washed and rinsed.

Some things that sucked ass....

I started with a 50ml syringe, I expected to fill it twice, using 2 filters and la te da.....yeah.

It was brutal filtering through the watman .22, there has to be an easier way. I still have another 40 bottles to make!
About 1ml every min give or take.

I finally switched to 5ml syringes and came up with a better faster plan.
My girlfriend would use 1 filter and 1x 5ml syringe and work. I would fill the next syringe and pass it to her. Worked well.
I suspect I lost 10ml during my filtering, spilling fooling around learning process. Could have been worse, only about 25 bucks.
Went through more syringes than needed but that wont happen again now that I have a process down.
No pins required for my particular process.
Used 2 bottles to play with the capping process.....

All in all not such a bad experiment.
We will see if the bottles crash this week.

Looking good dark...

Kanada from IL quoted that using the .22 is the bettr option than putting your gear in the oven so that could be another option if using the .22 is not in your liking.

im still very new at this lol

Dood the .22 blows bad, the whole process took me about 4 hours ;(
Now being new, and extra cautious it might be a little over kill.

Setup, prep, brew, filter, cleanup, packup.
