Talking to your doctor

Boss Oyama

Big Puncher ;D
Does anyone consult their doctor about their gear?
Just wondering what kind of feedback you might get.
I as thinking about talking to a doctor about it myself.

i would personnaly never tell my doctor about gear useage UNLESS i was experiencing a life threatening health issue.

also, once you are noted as a patient who uses gear, the insurance company may be less inclined to help pay for things... i think i read a post on here about that somewhere.

i told my doctor when i came off cycle what exactly i was taking. My test levels were low. Went for blood tests and was prescribed test cyp. 100 mg/ml!! haha and something for high progesterone levels. I had to go in one every 2 weeks. taking 100 mg every 2 weeks.

and now its in your permenant medical record , i hope that works for you.

I wouldn't say a damn word like DADAWG said unless its life threatening. You don't want you're Doctor's office to know and to write down what you're on and what you do. They are doctor's they right everything down and in the long wrong it will prly come and bite you in the ass.

yeah unless you are expecting government health care to save the day, I aint saying shit fuck all that noise my buisness is mine. Now if It were killing me and life threatining then yeah sure y not... But other wise zip it..

if you go in for blood test and they see your results if they are out of wack the doc might know whats up esspecially if you look like the incredible hulk, but unless there is serious medical concern i would keep my mouth shut.

I'll cosign that. A long time member here put me in contact with Chip when I couldn't find a doc that knew his head from his ass when it came to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Chip tightened me right up! I sent him him labs, he got me approved, I got my shit... all within a matter of days. The best part is that it's all legal, legit and good shit!

I see some BIG power ratings ...saying zip it>>> thats..prob for best ...but I did mention a issue once ...1st time I hit myself ..and I mean the VERY 1st...lol i passed out...and woke up smashed my head under my bed...right by my temple went to doctor next day because it was still bleeding (after my workout) he gave me 8 stiches..told him what happen ...now he gets paid MORE by me & the ins. company for doing more check ups on my levels..he diff gave me the talk about NOT doing "IT"...but everything is fine and I feel good knowing I can talk freely about my health... as far as writing anything down in my file?? but hey, that is just my story...Good luck

if you get seriously ill and the insurance co sees non-prescribed steroids use on your record your ass is getting dropped and now you will have a pre-existing condition that will exclude you from future coverage, and every illness will be blamed on steroids. Also, life insurance companies pull these records and will deny coverage or jack the rates up. These are facts not opinions.

Nah, I was talkin more like havin a Dr. manage my gear for me under the table. I know a Dr. that I think might be cool with it. He's managing a K1 fighter and I wouldnt be suprised if he's got the kid on some shit.

no problem there, but not many docs use aas nor do they know much about their off label (non-therapeutic) use

hey guys i am an Australian and here we have one of the best public health system's so i dont need insurance , i told my doctor everything i was planning on taking and he didnt bat an eye lid i then asked him for blood tests , one before two inbetween and two after my course .so he printed the forms and sent me on my way , so the five tests and six visits didnt cost me a cent ( other than my taxes) and this will not effect my eligebility for surgery if i ever need it later in life .
