So recently there has been a lot of talk about this peptide. Statement like, “It will help you heal faster”. “You recover more quickly from injuries” and so on. So what is TB500, what does it do, and how does it work.

TB 500 is a naturally occurring peptide. It is part of the thymosin family of peptides. Structurally it is unique in that it has a unique binding ability. This is relative in that it binds to certain substances and transports them to areas of injury. TB500 is found throughout the body, in many tissues, but is heavily concentrated in areas of injury.

The first effect of Tb 500 is it reduces inflammation. It does this via 2 mechanisms. It first works to lower inflammatory inducing cytokines. These cytokines induce systemic inflammation. Secondly there is a derivative of TB 500 that actually works to reduce inflammation of white blood cells. The cells responsible for immune system function.

As far as healing there are 2 primary mechanisms that TB 500 utilizes to promote and expedite healing. First it has a direct effect on Actin. Actin is a hair like substance that surrounds cells. It is responsible for the movement, growth and binding of cells. It plays a crucial role in healing. Second it is responsible for the activation of cells known as progenitor cells. These cells are unique in that they can assimilate with different cell types. They also produce protein and growth factors that promote healing.

As you can see TB500 isn’t just some peptide that worked in horses so it will work in our research, it has hard data supporting its effects and the benefits of those effects are often desired in our researching. The goal of this write up was to point those benefits out and support them with solid references.

TB-500 is the real deal - when added to HGH (every week, post trauma) injections it makes quick work of many recoveries

I'm looking forward for my TB-500 to kick in, started last Friday and and loading at 5mg per week. Nothing to report just yet, but it should kick in in a few weeks.

RUI, jimi, tballz....

I just finished a loading phase of 4mg a week for 6 weeks. What now? 5mg a month? One injection of 5mg or 2.5 first of the month and 2.5 last of the month? Looking for some information on this from people who have experience using it.

THANK YOU

Yes, put unmixed vials in the freezer.

Once reconstituted, can it also be put in the freezer in order to preserve it past 8 days? I have a 10mg vial for which the first and last dose would be 14 days apart, it is my understanding that once reconstituted TB500 is only good for about 8 days.

For peptides, I reconstitute, then pre-load pins, and freeze them.

I personally don't like freezing peptides once mixed and I feel the water expanding when freezing and shrinking when melting may damage pep, but I know a lot of guys that do this with many peptides and they still work fine. so you can do this if its easyer for you.
I just keep mine in fridge once mixed and use up within 4 weeks. I really don't think 2 weeks would be much of an issue with TB500.

if your worried about it sitting too long, fill and freeze like posted above and your GTG.

I think OP was referring to UNMIXED, but I still agree with you. Un reconstituted TB is fairly stable, and really just needs a dark, cool, dry place, like a medicine cabinet or sock drawer, imho.

Good to see you Vette! I've been "preaching" TB since you first suggested it to me. however, TB is fairly effective, and inexpensive. Really don't think it is necessary to add the GH, unless a major injury.

BTW... thanks for point it out to me several months ago. I think I will always keep a small quantity on hand "just in case".
