Test Cyp Expiration Date............

Hey guys, got a question. I ordered a prescription refill for 10ml Test Cyp about 3 months ago from the major board sponsor here at this forum. Well, after examining the bottle earlier today, I noticed that the expiration date is stamped 10/15/2013. This got me wondering, why did I receive a bottle that would expire in only 6 months!!! I have seen other vials that dont expire until 2016, so Im wondering if I received a much older/less potent vial. Should i return this vial to the pharmacy and request a newer one? And, if not, how long will this vial actually be good for once it expires?

It's usually good for like 4 years as long as it's keep cool and out of direct sunlight. You're fine and there isn't a need to seek a return.

Halfwit...while were talking about it, let me ask you another quick question. It seems that the liquid in this vial of cyp is alot thinner in viscosity compared to the liquid from another vial that I had from a different pharmacy. Is this just due the ester of the oil? Also, before filling the syringe, do I need to vigorously shake the vial? I have heard conflicting reports on this issue.

Different carrier oils will have different viscosities, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Just like some are slightly tinged yellow, while others are completely clear - just depends on what they add the hormone powder to. Shaking isn't worth it as it adds bubbles and makes it a bigger pain imo to inject. It should be a homogenous mixture anyway.

Expiry dates go by when your suppose to use the meds nowadays not by when they go bad, I agree with Halfwit
