Test only? What should I expect?

I have been hearing from a few guys here that say using test only for a first cycle is ideal.

What kind of gains should I expect off of test only? I know everyone is different.

I was also told 350mg of test a week would be not too high, not too low but just right. Is that correct?

What were some of your experiences with test only?

I'd really like to hear from you guys.

Fortunately I will be pinning for the second time on Tuesday. 1st Cycle of Test E 2x wk for 12 to 14 wks. Unfortunately I can't comment right now but I will be posting how it goes throughout my cycle.

ahhh 350mg's a week is pretty low imo. i think test is always best at atleast 500mg's/wk even for a newb. if it's prop, then pin it ED or EOD and enanthate twice a week ie. thurs. sun.
 
As for me, my first cycle was just Test as well ... honestly ... for me, doing just test is better for maintaining. You'll get much more benefit if you add Deca or EQ to your cycle. However, my first cycle I gained about 5lbs solid. Hope this helps.

week 1-12 test e 500mg/week
week 1-14 anastrazole tablets 0.25mg eod
week 3-12 Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 500iu/week
( test e 250mg x 2/week + Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 250iu x 2 /week (monday morning and thursday evening) )


POST CYCLE THERAPY (PCT) 2 weeks after last injection
nolva 20,20,20,10,10

if you want to kick start cycle run 40mg dinabole per day for first 4 weeks

350 is fine..500 would be better but I applaude your conservative doses..

hcg x 250 e 3rd day real good...can alway s go up..
post cycle therapy (pct) after 2 weeks..
aiu if you need it..
Safe simple..gain s will be dicated by your other 3 thing s training eating and sleep...and where you are right now..

very important point. I know it is hard but don't get caught up with other peoples gains etc. So many factors weigh in, much heavier than just the cycle you do, to focus on that will likely impede your own progress. Focus on how your body is handling it and focus on the other factors, try tweaking as necessary if you feel you're lagging.

I need to become familiar with some of these terms I have been hearing. Such as Hcg. What is that?

I also am not going to cycle until I know what to do in certain situations. For example, if my nuts start to shrink I want/need to know what to do or if I start getting gyno(bitch titts).
 
bro slow down a bit and start reading. read only for about 4 months then start asking questions about stuff. you can learn all you need to know from just reading.

Definately. People will respond better to your questions if they're well informed, instead of "hey guys, I've got 3ml of Test e, 5 deca pills, 6 bottles of anadrol and a prayer, is this a good cycle?". Note: I'm not saying that's you, it was just an example.
 
Come this Monday I will be on my 8th week of Z's Test E 500mg/week.

The pumps have been insane, but I haven't put on much muscle (as I expected). They say weeks 8-12 are when you put on the size.

On average though, expect to put on about 12-16lbs of lean muscle in 10-12 weeks.

I'm planning on running my cycle until 13 or 14 weeks.

Just got some blood work done today, so I should see what my test is come Monday.

Oh, also, run @ least 500mg a week, pin twice a week @ 250mg three and 1/2 days apart from each other.

You really need to do some more research on this. At a bare minimum, you need to have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on hand to control estrogen levels. You should really have blood work done prior to doing ANYTHING! The last thing in the world you want to have happen is to get strong as shit, packed up, then have an estrogen bomb go off and start growing you an extra set of tits. Trust me.... I'm not a doctor.... I dont play one on TV, but my bitch did make me stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

complete bullshit. 99% of people won't gain that much LBM on one cycle. Giving someone false hope can cause them to start a cycle without proper knowledge.

GIXXER, glad you're waiting to do this until you learn all you need. What I suggest is don't get hung up on numbers. Throw your scale away. Take measurements and get your BF% when you start and when you finish. Those are the true measures of success in this game. Thinking you're gonna gain 12-16lbs of lean muscle (which is stupid saying by the way, there's no such thing as LEAN muscle. Its just muscle.) on average will kill your confidence if you don't gain that or even close to that.

Problem is, most guys don't realize how much an actual pound of muscle gain really is.

Very true!...also look in the mirror not so much..take weekly pics..you probably will lose weight before you start to gain..
 
i dont understand why everyone has such a hard time finding a first cycle layout. when i researched mine the only question i had was how much aromasin to take. if you cant answer dose duration and post cycle therapy (pct) on your own, then your either not trying or really not trying.
