TRT at 27

sup guys

i am in my early 40s and been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for some time now and all is great.

a family friend who is 27 has been doing 1-2 short 8-12 week cycles for the last 10 years yes thats right since he was 17.

well it has gotten to the point were his last to blood works have shown test levels in the 200s and he feels like crap when his levels are there.

even by taking a year off its stays in the 200s he is wondering if he should seek to be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) so he can feel as he should.

what do you guys think? would it be possible for someone to come back from this?

his cycles over the last 10 years were all 8-12 weeks and nothing more than 500mg in combine test/deca stacks.

I think it would be possible to come back from what you described.

Did he employ any kind of post cycle therapy (pct) after his last cycle? He might benefit from a full post cycle therapy (pct) restart if he hadn't.

At this point, we don't know if he is actually permanently "broken" or just dormant and in need of a good kick start.

First place to start would be with a full endocrine profile - Total T, Free T, FSH, LH, T3, T4, IGF, E so we know what we have here.

Regards.

yes he did proper PCT after his last cycle

i have all his stuff

his first blood work back in march of 2010 this is after one year off of any anabolics was the following

test total 251ng/dl
test free 60.0 pg/mL
estorgen 50pg/mL
TSH 3rd gen 0.84
t4, free 1.0
t3 uptake 31

OCT of the same year
test total 252
estrodial 31
test free 1.24
TSH 3rd gen 0.61
t4 1.2
t3 35

Well, low test is dangerous. Unless he can get it back with a proper post cycle therapy (pct) then he's going to have to, because he probably can't even get an erection with those levels let alone function. I had very similar levels and that was my case, though I never used steroids to cause my problem, and I am younger than your friend.

i have been in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a while now so i asked him all that

he said getting an errection was not a problem but being in the "mood" was kind of a problem, but onces all systems were go it was not an issue at all

his symptoms were loss of motivation and energy, loss of muscle mass with increase in body fat.

oh IGF-1 were all good in the 300s
