Testosterone Therapy Saved My Life

Well I started on the 6th, when do you think is a good time for blood work?

Not trying to hijack Yoda's thread.. I would definitely like to feel like my old self x10.

I'd wait tell the 5th Wk, then get drawn the day injection is due (draw before you inject of course).

My doctor recommended at least 8 weeks before the first blood test. His life's work is based on the treatment and study of low testosterone.

I would definitely like to feel like my old self x10.

I recently got arrested by 15 police officers that sieged my home and pointed guns at me. After the whole 20 hour incident, jail and the sacking of my home, released with an "ops" and no apology, I was so terribly stressed out by the government attack that I injected myself with my prescribed 120mg of depo-testosterone and then 2 days later I was freaking out so much that I decided to do 100mg of delatestryl because testosterone helps me deal with stress. The next day, I woke up and I could swear I felt as excited as I was when I was a child. I think that at a high dose, you regain your childhood youth and feel like your old self. Remember the time in your life when you felt the most alive? For me it was playing Duke Nukem 3D, Z steel soldiers, seeing naked women and Nintendo 64: Golden eye (when I was 8 years old). I felt like THAT!

TRT saved my life as well. My total T was 84. Admitted to hospital for chest pains. lots of BW and I went to see my current family doc who happens to be age mgmt as well. Redid all bloodwork to verify previous. I was at 100 total T. Depression, lethargy, no libido etc...
Dr. John in Cleveland, Ohio saved my life. Very conservative with protocols which is good. Some of the doses I see guys taking here for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) seem more like cycles. I take 140 mg split into 2 injections per week, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 500 i.u.'s 2 x per week and Adex .25 mg 2x week. Just gave blood today to check. Last T dose of 120 q 7 days had me at 418. Better, but still was not feeling like the old me. I totally related to Yoda. hope you feel better brother. Also according to cenegenics anything over 150 mg per week is considered doping. Can't say I agree if numbers are still low. But the feds probably would mess with the docs if doses go too high. Thanks for the time Gents.

I'm on 120mg every 5 days so that's 168mg ever 7 days. Cenegenics are fools because I'm not on Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), so their statement is pretty ridiculous. On top of that I weigh 280 pounds and measure 6 feet 6 inches and wear Size 53 tuxedo (most men wear around 40). My ancestors were vickings/normans (most powerfully built men in the world, from endless natural selection towards height and strength through killing each other for a thousand years). I seriously hate when people create "maximum doses" without considering that it does not apply to me. It's even true for multivitamins, I require 2.5 times the recommended dose. I eat 2.5 times more than maybe 99.9% of humans on earth.

He is a French doctor in an isolated town in the province of Québec, Canada.

Here is how I cured myself:
Here is what you must do to get help from the idiot doctors. Write down all your symptoms related to low testosterone, you can also print out a list off of Google. Go to the emergency room and ask for help because you feel as if you are dying from low testosterone. Give them your list of low testosterone symptoms. Ask for: Total testosterone, Free testosterone, SHBG. Make up a fake story that your dad also suffers from low testosterone. Who cares bro, make up a story, doctors are idiots and you have to put things in your favor!

Give them this. They would have to be an idiot to not understand:

-Feminization;
-No facial hair growth;
-No sexual functions;
-Erectly dysfunction;
-Extremely irritable;
-Extreme stress;
-Excessive and frequent yawning;
-Extreme loss of confidence;
-Loss of memory, inability to concentrate;
-Loss of all muscle mass and no energy;
-No morning erections;
-Weight gain;
-Gynecomastia;
-No physical endurance;
-Hot flashes;
-Vitiligo;
-Loss of pubic hair;
-Diabetes;
-Near fainting;
-Inability to tolerate heat;
-Feeling sick all the time;
-No motivation, extreme depression;
-I feel like I'm dying;
-I feel like I have testosterone deficiency.

If you want to make sure you get life long help. Make sure you don't sleep for more than 40 hours before your blood test. It'll drop your testosterone levels by an extra 50% and they will give you a testosterone prescription for life! I was so scared to land myself at around 305ng/dl and be refused that I purposely reduced it even further! The dumb part is that they can refuse you any help if you are over 300ng/dl. I aimed to destroy my Testosterone before me blood tests.

I am also young and my T levels were at 5.1nmol/l

How old are you? That is extremely low, unless you are around 10 years old or younger.

Here are my results:
2003 (15 years old)
LOW Total testosterone 4.0nmol/L (range 9.7 - 29.6) OR (US units: 115ng/dl range 300 to 900)
NEGATIVE kleinfelter's syndrome test

2011 (23.5 years old)
LOW Total testosterone 6.5nmol/L (range 9.7 - 29.6) OR (US units: 187ng/dl range 300 to 900)
NEGATIVE kleinfelter's syndrome test

2011 (23.6 years old)
LOW Total testosterone 9.3nmol/L (range 9.7 - 29.6) OR (US units: 268ng/dl range 300 to 900)
LOW Free testosterone 217pmol/L (range 273 - 679)
LOW Bio-available testosterone 5.1nmol/L (range 6.4 - 15.9)

YodaFargo great story and thank you for sharing bro. I wish you all the best mate on your road to recovery.
Soon I will perhaps join your club as long as I will not encounter foolish doc on my way which o hope will not happen.

I just got my results in from March 2nd 2012.

Total Testosterone: H 39 (9.7 - 29.6) nmol/L (1124ng/dl range 300 to 900)
Free Testosterone: H 989 (273 - 697) pmol/L
Bio-available Testosterone: H 23.2 (6.4 - 15,9) nmol/L

H = high/elevated

This is from 120mg every 5 days of testosterone-cypionate, I weigh 284 and am 6 feet 7 inches.

One blood value is off. My monocytes are high. This probably means that my vitiligo is getting worse and that I'm turning white like Michael Jackson.

(My testosterone is probably at around 2500ng/dl to 3000ng/dl right now since I took more and I really don't feel well. I'm not doing this again.)

I'm slowly growing facial hair for the first time in my life. Everyday, many new hairs pops out of pores all over my face and body. The amount of hair on my body will probably go from X to 4X (quadruple).

Also, I think my penis got permanently 5% longer in a little over 3 months (around 100 days of testosterone injections).

This is horrible advice!!! If someone needs testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), it can change their life. If they don't have a real medical need without trying to manipulate labs, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a horrible life sentence. The goal for all should be to operate well and feel good with the minimum amout of medication possible. A lifetime of meds for someone that may not need it is a horrble thing to wish on someone.

Clearly you are not aware of what is going on. Many men get their blood tested and score a tiny bit over 300ng/dL, at for example 305ng/dL (range 300 to 900ng/dL) and they feel HORRIBLE. I was sick for 15 years and suffered immensly and actually got 5 years of THE WRONG TREATMENT. If you get anything above 300ng/dL about 75% of doctors will tell you that you are fine, and you will suffer in sillence for your whole life. I was suffereing immensly and I needed testosterone replacement therapy. So I didn't sleep before blood test to reduce it more. My normal testosterone is at 200ng/dl. I was scared that for the most important blood test of my life, I would score a bit over 300 at for example 305, imagine, that would disqualify me for help even though I'm at 200 almost all the time (My lowest homedone test came out at 120ng/dL and 10ng/dL when I was extremely sick, I didn't "not sleep" before blood test to get a therapy that I didn't need, I did it to make certain I would get what I desparatly needed).

The horror of not qualifiying for help is terrifying for me. It would have completely desotryed my life even more! I had been doing nothing for the last 14 years because of my condition. So shush and understand why I still recommend it. You don't purpously walk into a doctors office or nurse's blood test on your best day to purpously show you are "health" on that specific day. You have to show them your results on your normal days.

When I do physical activity, my testosterone sometimes falls to 10ng/dL (ten).

On the split side. I would never fake my results later on in the treatment by taking for example 60mg instead of my prescribed 120 just too lower my testosterone levels before my blood test. That is just dumb because he would increase my dose de maybe 180mg every 5 days, then I would feel seriously agressive and stressed!

Update. I saw my endocrinologist on April 4th 2012. He says he wants to FULLY saturate every receptor site in my whole body! He will be keeping me at 1500ng/dL for at least another 3 months. Good stuff!

Hey, I was wondering why your doctor wants your levels to be so high? Also, how do you feel at this level? Also, how do you feel at his level compared to high normal, say 1000? Very interested !!

#trt

i don't know why there is all this talk lately about getting off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), I don't know what I would do without it.

Wow this story strongly resembles what I have gone through! I won't lie, Canada's healthcare SUCKS for TRT! I'm in my mid-twenties, and I've suffered from LOW-T for a long time; only discovered it a few years ago, and have been arguing with doctors to obtain a prescription. I'm getting pretty close, though.

My levels have been around 1.23 NG/DL for free testosterone, and I also have elevated E2 (63 PG/ML), so I've felt like absolute shit for the last 4 or five years.

Yoda, your story inspires me to continue on this journey, and it also gets me excited to hear that I may potentially feel young again, when I was happy! I can't wait!

And yes, I can resinate with the whole suicide thing; this disease is a serious problem, and I wish physicians would start treating it more seriously.

If I may ask, why was your home invaded like that? Was it related to steroid use, or was that a totally unrelated incident altogether? I ask because I may have to start ordering gear in order to get the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I need, so i'm already nervous enough as it is. Thanks,

Smoke, that doc in Quebec isn't that far from you. Why don't you ask Yoda how to get to see him? (Anything less than a twelve hour drive is "just down the road".)
