what worked best for you ? for me it was a full body workout 2 days a week on heavy compounds , alternated with more reps and 1/2 machines/cables/more sets/regular bodybuilding split this time every 6 weeks continually for a few times of alternating , around 6 months of this then it stopped working anymore .
now im on a new POWER/REP. RANGE/SHOCK bodybuilding 6 week program from bodyfx2 on muscle mayhem / chad nichols board and just came out of a basic 6 week powerlifting program & i feel great !

I don't care much for full body workouts. IMO concentrating on 2 body parts a day is more rewarding. I'm all about the pyramid for bulking.
Example-
Set 1: 10 reps
Set 2: 8 reps
Set 3: 6 reps
Set 4 : 4 reps/ or set 4 as a burn-out depending on the excersise
This has worked well for me in all excersises

so your pyramidding your warm up sets ? how many until your max set ?

old school is 3x/week using the core movements, bench, squat, deadlift with only a mild incorporation of auxilary movements such as barbell bicep curl.

Oh okay. Oldschool means different things to different people. You could've been talking about bent press, one arm press, training with thick bars, etc.

Devil: On that routine, I would usually do 3-4 warmups for my main exercise, then 1 warmup for the subsequent exercises.
