Superpowers:
Building muscle, fighting cravings, burning addominal flab.

Secret Weapons: protein, monosaturated fats, vitamin E, fiber, magnesium, folate (peanuts), phosphorus.

Enemies: Obesity, heart disease, muscle loss, wrinkles, cancer, high blood preassure.

Sidekicks: Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, peanuts, avocados.


Imposters:

Salted or smoked nuts-The high sodioum spikes blood preassure.

How to use them:


Toss a handful on top of salads, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, or low fat ice cream.

For a quick meal, add a few to a 1 cup of whole wheat bowtie pasta, 1/2 cup coocked shredded chicken, and 2 tablespoons crumblued Gorgonzola cheese.

Spray a handful of almonds with nonstick cooking spray and bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. remove and sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
 
I LOVE dark chocolate almonds. other then that i dont like em. i like other nutz over them acually just about any nut.
wallnuts are at the top of my list (taste wise)

is eating almonds an hour before bed ok. I'm trying to cut, but tend to get hungry before bed. So instead of eating crap i try to limit myself to almonds and or cottage cheese.

As long as i keep my calories below maintenance are almonds and cottage cheese okay to eat an hour before bed?

I'm new to cutting, just learning about it.
