Putting the price issue aside, the problem with Big & Tall stores is that it's really just a euphemism for Fat & Tall, so their clothes don't fit any better anyway.
For dress shirts, has anyone tried the custom tailoring service offered by Land's End? For about $70 you get a custom made shirt. Once you consider how much you would otherwise have to spend on alterations, that's not bad at all.
