I usually train 5 days a week with the weekend as my rest days (natty)..I'm aware that aas increases recovery time. I was assuming just the muscle tissue, I diddnt know if you still needed a few days still to rest BC of nervous system and such. I usually go to 6 day training one day off when cycling. What you guys think and why.

This is a very individualistic topic as we all have differing rates of recovery. I personally work out seven days a week, but do require deload weeks every couple months to allow my CNS to recover. You will know when you're experiencing burnout as you start feeling fatigued constantly and even with good diet and sleep - you just start slipping in weight you use to train. Ignore it long enough, and your body will make you take a break by catching a cold from immune system suppression.

This is also why I enjoy a 5 day split, as it allows me to train with insane intensity, and still have time to recover. If I weren't on TRT, I'd probably take weekends off though.

Yeah after a few months it'll catch up to me and I'll take a few days off because I'll feel burnt out. I want to take advantage of my extra test levels and the benefits it allows but, I diddnt know on a cellular level how the extra aggression in the gym affects the body if that makes since. Just curious what approach you guys took when on.
