Any of you guys get to train in a bad ass gym where they dont give a fuck. Ive been looking so long for a gym where its all about lifting heavy ass weight. Im tired of walking into cardio gyms and being looked at like Im a douche bag because I use all the 45's or give a grunt.

This is where I want to train...

I really like my gym, everyone is on something and huge, a lot of people do shows, prolly just as many that do shows act like they are going to do a show, but its still cool to watch them go through the motions.
It's a very motivating atmosphere.
I have other gyms i go to but would rather train there.

I always tell everyone, the gym doesn't really matter as long as they have the basic equipment, but it's nice to be around like minded people. Best gym i ever trained at was a place in Jersey. It was strength and conditioning for fighters. YOu had all kinds going there, cops, boxers, firefighters, physical therapists, mma fighters, grapplers, wrestlers. It's a small little place, invite only. It's in dumont, new jersey.

I work out at golds and get dope people like Jay cutler and Larrisa Reis but the golds standard has seriously dropped. I mean half trainers in that bitch are fat slobs.

That sounds bad ass dude. Definitely like there could be a lot to be learned

Dont get me wrong I wasnt saying the gym dictates how you train or your workout, the gym Im at is on the same idea as planet fitness. Its frowned upon to lift heavy or to move big weights. For instance, 25% of the gym just got taken over for classes, thats cool, im glad theyre doing classes and getting people into the gym and trying to better themselves, but dont kitty corner me because of it. Id love a nice rusty, dirty ass gym that I feel like I need a tetnis shot every time I leave. Thats what I want

I'd hate to train in one of those gyms. I think that's my only requirement. Don't be like planet fitness, and leave me alone.

Lmfaoooo, i want to get like a one day guest pass and just deadlift and drop the weight on every reps. Hell, i'd even take off my shirt and grunt as loud as possible. This would have to go on youtube of course.

Thats how I got kicked out was deadlifting...haha..bare with me for the story.

Was deadlifting, they told me I was making too much noise. I was warming up with like 225...so Im cool about it and go get the ab mats and put under the bar. I do some reps, I can feel them looking at me..Next thing I know they come back over and say I cant use the ab mats because members cant do abs...OK, cool. You either take the noise or loss of ab mats. Put on 405, I literally do one rep and touch the floor, fucking lunk alarm goes off, people stop and look at me, guy comes running over freaking out, I didnt even acknowledge him, kept my headphones on and banged out a few more reps. I finish my set and hes freaking out. I never took my headphones off, put weights away. I start walking away and he tells me I need to leave, I politely tell him im done anyways and tell him to get a real job..at this point I knew I was leaving that joke of a gym anyways.

week later when I was doing deads I knew id make a scene at PF one last time, throw on 495, slam every damn rep as loud as possible, have chalk all over my hands, they all freak out, dropped the weight, walked out and havent been back.

Funny thing is, the tough guy who decided to yell about it now goes to the same gym as me and its bloated as fuck running test/deca. Go figure right

Lmao it's funny how different the two environments can be. At the gym i mentioned earlier, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. You feel welcomed like you are family. Then you go to these yuppie type gyms and you're surrounded by snotty people with a chip on their shoulder.

LOL walking around shirt off head phones loud as they go banging some hard 80s rock , no shoes dropping the barbell every rep throwing chalk in the air with loud grunts lol epic
