I'm sure this info has been covered but I can't find it so I'll just ask. I used to train pretty seriously but didn't get complicated. Trained my ass off and ate tons of protien and avoided empty calories. Now I want to lean up but I'm confused about carb timing when I'm trying to work in cardio and training. So here it is. Cardio in the morning and training in the afternoon is the plan. 1st and foremost, do I eat anything before cardio or after? I obviously want to minimize catabolism.
And secondly, what if I have to do cardio right around the time I lift.. Do I eat before like I would if I was just lifting? PW shake after? I know lots of you have dealt with this stuff, any help is appreciated.
