Training each body part less than twice a week.

Im wondering wot everyones training looks like..I used to do each body part roughly 2 times a week,maybe a little more.(im sure we've all done this at one stage thinking more might be better)...Im thinking about training each body part around once a week..as follows..


Week.1
Mon

Week 1

Mon Upper body
Tues 30 mins cardio
Weds Lower body
Thurs 30 mins cardio
Fri Upper body
Sat 30 mins cardio

Week2

Mon Lower Body
Tues 30 mins cardio
Weds Upper body
Thurs 30 mins cardio
Fri Lower body
Sat 30 mins cardio


Im thinkin about experimenting with this program for around 10 weeks.As you can see each body part or group only gets worked 3 times every 2 weeks..Has anybody tried this.What kind of results do you think it might give. Sets will be around 6 for each exercise alternating between heavy x low reps. and moderate x high reps..
