Transitional Hangover? (Testim to Cyp)

I was wanting to hear from guy who made a switch from a gel to shots. I just made the switch (yesterday morning, 200 mg cyp EOW-did not apply any testim). I have felt odd today...maybe in my head. I was just wondering if there was a wait period to go through as my body absorbs the cyp.

I didn't experience any sort of "hang over" when I switched from patches to shots. I felt better minus the crash after 2 weeks since my doctor is an idiot but that's besides the point. How often are your injections going ot be?

Every other week to start. I know about goint to weekly or even every 5 days etc. but haven't made it there yet

I just switched from androgel to cyp 2 weeks ago and I felt worse at first. My doctor started me at 400mg and tomorrow will be 2 weeks. Now I just gotta be patient and wait until I can Inject myself. If it doesn't get corrected soon I will call Maximus.

I posted up months ago about crashing while making the switch from Testim to Injectables.

Short version of the story, testim is applied daily essentially because by the end of 24hrs your T level is back to baseline. If you were able to reach a point on Testim where you actually felt good, like I did, it won't take but a couple days to crash, and it will take longer than 2 days to get a protocol built around injectable T to take effect. So, if you actually achieved any benefits from testim and then switch to injectable T, there's a distinct chance it could create a bit of a roller coaster effect simply based on the simple difference in delivery methods, absorption rates, etc. etc.

A complicating factor for me was that my starting dose of Adex was way too high and I felt like I got hit by a freight train.

It's gonna take a month to full kick in bro and at only being able to inject EOW is gonna be a rollercoaster ride because Test Cyp. has an 8 day half-life!

See if you can split up dosage and inject E7D because you will feel alot less like a zombie and have a better quality of life! Print out and show your doctor this study in the below link on weekly injections and a better quality of life for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) patients!

It's pretty much been a living hell getting 200MG of Test-cyp now for my doc. He's really stubborn & wouldn't not only change the dosage, he wouldn't give me anything else to prevent the friggin small itty bitty grapes I now call my nuts from shrinking. I can't wait to start Maximus this week.

Damn yo. Your doc gave you 400mg? WTF, that's a really BIG dose for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). You could have been peeking over 4,000 total T. If that dose is correct they should just take his license away... Unless he's a genius at hrt (he's not because 2 weeks), and you way like 500lbs. I'm just guessing that 400mg was a typo.

No it wasn't a typo. It was my first shot and it was 2 cc. I was shocked myself but I wasnt going to say no. He took blood Tuesday so I'll let you know the results when I see him next.

100% !!!! I picked it up from the pharmacy myself and took it to the office to get the shot. He took the test after 8 days.

Hey Frustrated1 I got my labs back today and my test level was 281 after 8 days on this 400mg. Any thoughts on why so low?
