TRap Muscle Pull

Pulled a muscle in my right trap and it hurts by my shoulder like if I bench real heavy but I notice it when I put my arms down to my side and turn my head.

What's a quick way to get that healed? I've been using ice and heat but it's been a week and it's still sore . . . . what gives? I haven't been lifting that time to atttempt to let it heal

If you look at me straight on the pain seems like it's just above my chest to the right.

Not sure where in the heck my clavical is but I hurt it doing deads. I must have relied too much of pulling from my shoulder when I should have used more legs. It's right where the armpit is but up about 3 inches but beofre the top of my shoulder.
 
try using icy hot, or somthing like that... it wont help heal it faster, but it will numb that area up when you exercise

using heat products like deep heat ( I don't know what icy hot is) does promote healing. it increase blood supply to the area which will help it heal.

ice up for the first couple of days, then heat
