Who cares if you can't get a pump? A pump is just that -- a pump. it's oxygen getting thrown into your muscles and tahst it. it doesnt measure how good of a workout it is or how much muscle you're gaining at all. once body builders figure this out, they'll be much better off. i blame all the gay ass magazines that still promote the pump.

IMO, the king of getting triceps bigger are close grip bench presses

others that i like
- close grip board presses
- tate presses
- skull crushers
-db skull crushers
- hammer db bench

You're fairly limited if all you have are dumbells. Overhead dumbell extensions (one arm at a time or two) and kickbacks are the only two options that come to mind. You could maybe pre-exhaust your tris with some pushups (form a triangle with the inner portion of your fingers) which emphasize the triceps.

r u serious? u can do way more than two bro

db skulls -- you can vary these too.. to the head to the throat, to the chest, over you rhead
tate presses
db hammer grip bench
extensions
db regular grip bench will hit the tris as well

u COULD do kick backs but in all honesty the fucking BLOW

also bro if you bought a set of bands.. you just doubled what you could do.. no triple

basically you have someone hold boards on your chest which limits the range of the bench movement. you can lift more weight due to the smaller ROM but the point of the exercise is to strengthen your triceps (in your case at least). use a close grip bench grip and drop the BB to the boards and once they touch push up with your tris (dont bench it normally that will kill your bench #s). push with the triceps and thats it.

Db skulls and overhead db extensions (and their variations) are, for all intents and purposes, essentially the same movement.

While db hammer grip bench and regular bench do indeed hit the tris, I'd consider them to be chest exercises (splitting hairs here).

I don't do kickbacks myself. I was just listing another possibility.

What are tate presses? I've never heard of them.

.
DB hammer grip bench hits the tris pretty hard actually.

I actually like to incorporate them from time to time for the extreme stretch I can get in my pecs. I don't go extremely heavy (out of caution) so I tend to feel it more in my pecs.

Word CGBP and Y rope pull extensions have made my tris a force to reckon with :spin:

Do you keep your elbows in tight?

I did them for a few weeks and they were almost like doing close grip.

My main tri movement is weighted dips. Try not to use any isolation movement except as pre fatigue. Dips, close grip, reverse grip are the big builders.
