Triceps?

My main tri movement is weighted dips. Try not to use any isolation movement except as pre fatigue. Dips, close grip, reverse grip are the big builders.
Yeah, weighted dips will take a toll on the shoulders after a while. Do them long enough and then you'll never be able to do them. :) Not for everyone. I dont see any problem with isolation movement for triceps.

Very true which is why I usually alternate them EOW. And cycle my heavy / lite lifting. Lite for me are just BW dips. Also like hammer dips. Stopping your set 1-2 reps before any kind of failure will help keep the shoulders fresh.

I can go heavy on dips, but that's the problem. I used to do them just fine, and after a while started noticing my left shoulder pain. Plus, I dont feel like I get enough out of doing dips for myself. I've done dips various ways also. I do stop 1-2 reps short of failure, always. Some exercises are just not ment to be done by certain people because they may do more harm in the long run than good. Not for everybody, and not for long term.

I like to start out with close grip benches, but if you want pump thats going to come from volume and/or high reps.
