Sup Bros,so first off im 24.Last year i was put on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) 210mg Cyp a week and 350IU Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) a week. Also anastrozole as needed if needed.I know im young but last year i got tested due to the fact i was lethargic and had a hard time putting muscle on and losing fat.My bloods came back at 380 the first time doc wouldnt help.I got tested again a month later 320.Again 2 months later due to symptoms this time at around 1pm,and my test was 170.Still doctor wouldnt help so i finally seeked a clinic and was approved. Also im constantly injuring myself and have shoulder arthuritis(ya at 24 wtf) so i was approved for deca at 100-200mg a week.

I feel great and made so many great changes,my concerns are.

Will i one day become infertile?i dont want kids now but idk if i will in 5-10 years.Or will the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) keep me fertile? i dont want to completely shut down forever.
any other things i should be worried about?

anyway i really appreciate any input. This forum has been very helpful thus far and im blessed to have found it :)

I dont have first hand experience with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but that alone should boost LH and by that increase test levels, you might not need the injections yet if you feel right, once you get on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) your on it and i cant say what will be your fertility chances when you're 30. take it one step at a time so you know what med is the one you respond to or have side effects from. test is wonderful once you're old

TRTony, it's hard to say. I've come across guys on here who have been able to get their wives pregnant while on their protocol and others who aren't as lucky. The hCG is definitely a good idea for this reason as it keeps your natural production going.

There's also a member by the name: Cashout, who has a very detailed regimen of how he came off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that he had success with, which could be another avenue to explore when the time comes, if you are having difficulty with having children. You can type in his name and find his post pretty easily

Another thing to consider might be having your sperm count measured and if you are fertile, have some sperm frozen ( I don't know what the cost of this is though), but just something else you could explore.

thank u for all the responses, how do i go about testing my fertility? contact my GP?

also Deca was a pain in the ass to get and expensive but HRT clinics are very leinient as opposed to Gps

Whether or not that is a true statement, I don't know. I have only worked with my GP and Endo. But let's say it is. I'm just wondering why that would be the case. Wouldn't the doctor running and hrt clinic still have the same medical license to worry about keeping in good standing? And the same worries about malpractice lawsuits? And the same medically acceptable protocols to follow? Is it just the fact that many of them don't take insurance as payment so they are untethered from the protocol guidelines dictated by the Blue Crosses of the world? Is that what "liberates" them?

No idea. But it seems like testosterone is testosterone, but, my knowledge on that is shallow. The way I look at it is, it'd be like getting prescribed Paxil instead of Celexa when being prescribed an SSRI, in my understanding of it

I see you are a junior bodybuilder. Did you use steroids at all before you tested low in testosterone?

nope.i wrestled all threw high scool and train mma at ufc gym.before starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) i

-broke arm
-fucked delt or tri up
-seperated ac joint
-Threw out lower back

then after i started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) i hurt my ribs.so i decided to add deca

the doc said 100 to 200 per week of Deca .. on top of the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) 210mg cyp a week and 350IU of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG)? like wing it and get back to me ;-))

you're young, dont go sterile for the sake of some muscles, switch doctors till you get the help you need, or stay on the program without extras, really there is time later to blow up

I have so many questions it is unreal!

I am 24 years old, 6'1", 215lbs. Currently taking test cypionate 250mg 1cc weekly, and sermorelin acetate 20iu nightly.

How it all started?
Well i was feeling depressed as hell! Never wanted to workout, absolutely ZERO sex drive, no ambition, and unhappy with life! I seen a commercial on tv talking about low testosterone so i did alot of research on the stuff. Right out of high school i took deca, test, and Winstrawl. So i thought i messed up my natural levels by taking steroids at such a young age. A man i work with (rediculously huge) told me that he had the ability to obtain some testosterone for me. He suggested that i take a bottle of deca and a bottle of test enanthate. So here i am taking this test e 300mg twice a week and deca 250 twice a week (600mg test, 500mg deca weekly). I got big, my mood was great, i had energy, i was looking good. GYNO! Man at work told me to take tamoxifene. BUNK! So i go to this anti-aging clinic and told them my story and situation. Blood pressure was 187/128! He gave me arimadex, and gyno cleared up. Did my blood test and the test level was at 1600! (through the roof) and my gf1 was like 240 kinda low for a 24 year old. He switched me to test cypionate 250 1cc a week and sermorilen 20iu nightly. He wanted to lower my test levels to a consistant 1000-1200 range and wants to get my gf-1 up to around 400.
Blood pressure had gone down to like 136/90. He still wanted the blood pressure lower so he told me to quit smoking and he prescribed me chantix. Now i am about to go on a cruise and i wanted to slim down i asked him about winstrawl and he flipped his shit... so he prescribed me phentermine.....

So now here i am taking test cypionate 250mg 1cc weekly, sermorelin 20iu nightly, chantix 1mg twice a day, phentermine every morning, and arimadex every other morning. WTF did i get myself into! I dont want to have to take testosterone for the rest of my life if it is not needed... Im wondering if they are doing right by my age and levels... and the chantix helped me quit smoking but it puts me back in a depressed mood and makes me want to drink alchohol constantly. I am scared to quit all together. I just want to be happy, have energy, and look good. Please feel free to tell me how stupid i am if you want to

Maybe im just over thinking everything...

sounded like some of your stuff was not prescribed, if it is its a lot, your blood levels must be sky high, the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) will help keep you working but long term who knows

extras such as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), which can help mitigate the effects of being sterile. Im not so sure the basic testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose will make you sterile but it can severily diminish your ability to get someone pregant. I think people over react because guys get their spouses pregnant all the time on this stuff, but at the same time I think there are guys that under react and say take a pill or another injection and you will be fine. Bottome line taking testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can diminish your ability to be fertile. To what extend depends on the person. But if you take this stuff and do not know or think this is a risk you need to re-look the pros and cons before you start. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is not a death sentence as far as being able to have kids, but its not all fun and games either.
