trt specialist needed for hcg question

My dr has subscribed me hcg at 500iu 3x a week, is there any benefit of that dosage compared to 500iu 2x a week? I am not sure if this is an effort to get my test levels higher or what the deal is? I can list my protocol if needed. Thanks...

100mg test c 2x a week, semorelin+ghrp-6 200mcg every night before bed, hcg 500iu 2x a week, armidex 1mg 2x a week, armour thryoid 45 mg everyday is the current protocol..but dr is suggesting hcg 500iu 3x a week so thats where the question comes from. diet was set up by you so I should be able to kill it!

So you are currently injecting 1000iu's of HCG a week and the doctor wants to increase that to 1500iu's a week?

Now you must understand that when I started TRT my natural TT was very low (64) but after a few months on TRT my trough TT was at 510. I added HCG to my protocol at 300iu's 2x a week and my TT went up to 560 which is where I am at now. So unless I am missing something by adding the HCG at 300iu's 2x a week has increased my TT in the amount that I was origionaly producing naturally. I am not sure how it all works but I would think that 1000iu's a week of HCG would be more than enough, most guys on here have mentioned being on 500iu's a week.

lol only reason I need it at all is to keep these men big, had not seen or heard of people using that much so was hoping there would be a good reason if I was to use that much...

Yeah 250 i.u. 2x week keeps my boys full; don't see why your doc would want to increase from 1k to 1500 iu. If he saw those labs he should either drop your test dose or your hcg, but it makes much more sense to lower the hcg.

my bad I guess I was not totally clear!! I got the labs from him actually but my script said 3x a week and was previously taking 2x so thinking hopefully somebody had read a study or knew if there was any advantages of this. haha no idea why but was hoping that extra 500 did some magic

So your doc isn't altering your protocol after seeing your TT was at 1400 and FT at 360, not to mention knowing the blood was drawn 7 days after the last injection?

Regarding the HCG: My doc had me on HCG monotherapy at 1k iu twice weekly (even though I didn't want to do mono since I've read it's possible the leydig cells can become desensitized at high doses). It's doesn't make sense to me that your doc has you taking 200mg of test every week in addition to that much HCG. Sounds like a terrible doc you got there; but I have to say, I wish I could find a doctor that is willing to prescribe that radical of a protocol. I'm having trouble getting any sort of HCG implemented in my trt protocol.

I just switched to him pretty recently, he took my bloods before I started with him.. when I had my bloods drawn I was not on hcg and was on 200mg once a week so he told me that he wanted to keep them stable and injecting 100mg 2x a week would be a way better option.. I was put on hcg and I had started at 500 iu 2x a week but the other day my girl was helping me with an injection and pointed out the script says 3x a week at 500.. so was thinking maybe there is some advantage to the extra dose. He is a great dr and I am very pleased with him, it is very hard to find a good dr you are on the same page with. I had tried a uro and even saw an endo and the endo was the worst of all, tried to tell me she would give me an injection every 4 weeks!
