TRT ups and downs, E2, belly fat, need advice and help

I'm on 120mg test cyp per week. My E2 came in high (over 50). My Dr prescribed me Arimidex, but I took too much and my E2 dropped to 7. I stopped taking the E2 two weeks ago to let my levels rebound and I plan on starting again today with a lower dose (just .25mg on my pin day to start, which is Saturday's)(I was taking .25mg everyday which I guess was dumb). My energy has had its ups/downs which I think is due to E2 fluctuations. Also I've seen myself get a little leaner and I have been getting stronger as well, except my waist/belly hasnt gotten smaller at all. I've lost no inches on my waist. What could be the reasons for that? E2 as well? My test levels over the last few months have been around 800 total and 26 free test. Those tests were taken a day or two before my next pin. Any reason to up my injection dose to 140 or 160mg? Looking for advice and I know you all aren't doctors, so just wanted your thoughts before I talk to my Dr. about things! Thanks

I prefer higher than 800.
How do you feel? If you feel fine then stay at 800, if your still symptomatic go higher.
We all have stubborn fat areas. Mine is also my waist/gut. First to get fat, last to get lean. I'm down below 15% and still have a little tummy.

.25mg daily is way to high on you test dose.

Are you only injecting once a week? If so, have you tried twice a week? That helps reduce E2 levels. You may not even need an AI if you do that.

What specifically did your E2 come in at? >50 could be almost anything.

Diet is going to be what drives fst loss. Not so much your TRT protocol. What is your TDEE and what are your daily macros? Do you lift weights or play sports?

I wouldn't change your test dose right now. Try to only change one variable at a time.

My TDEE is around 2900 (used a calculator I found online). I use the myfitnesspal app and take in around 1800-2200 per day. I try to split 50% protein and 25% carbs, 25% fat. (I get my protein from a few shakes and lean protein which is mostly chicken but some fish and beef). I've been doing Crossfit for about 4 months (the first two I was going 2-3 times per week due to always being sore, but the last two months I've been going 5-6 times per week). I am injecting once a week, and just started my new protocol of .25mg of Arimidex on my pin day only (still pinning 120mg or .6ml of 290mg single use vial). So I'll only be taking .25mg per week which shouldn't be too much right? Also my E2 was 55. Any other thoughts?

55pg/ml is high but not crazy high. You really might be able to avoid the AI by switching to pinning twice a week. I encourage you to give it a try.

How long have you been in an ~900kcal deficit for? You may need to pause and return to maintenance for a bit to reset your thyroid and metabolism.

Be careful with HIIT (crossfit) and lots of cardio while in a caloric deficit. That is a recipe for losing your precious muscle mass. I would encourage you to reconsider. Your diet and training need to be aligned with your goals.

What is your body fat %?
