Typical Gains on 1st. Cycle??

Just curious as to what some of your gains have been on your 1st. cycle of test(500mg a week Monday 250-Thursday 250). I havnt completed my 1st. cycle just yet, but after 7 weeks of hard training and a strict diet I like to think I am doing well.
My starting specs:
40yrs old
5'11
192lbs
23% body fat( as calculated by the staff at the gym)
37in. waste
14.5in. Biceps
Quads 20.5 inches

My current specs are
202lbs.
13.5% body fat( as calculated by gym staff, same individual)
34in. waste
16.5in biceps
22in Quads

I can actually see my abs for the first time in many, many years. No 6 pack yet,but a definite 4 pack is showing.
I know a lot of people do cycles to bulk up, however I was already bulky( in the gut) and I want to get leaner first, and at the same time gain muscle size.
I think I am on the correct path. I am thinking that once I get to 10% bodyfat(my goal) I will want to do a stacking cycle for extra muscle growth. Any advise would be helpful as well.

You did all that in seven weeks? Maybe you should be answering the questions. Damn.

Yeah, those are amazing gains for such a short time. I would not think that most should expect that.
I am 11 weeks in, started around 190 and will finish around 195and think a few precentage points less BF. Age 45. However, I do not fluctuate a lot. Even when I was 17 and went to USMC boot camp at 155 and 12 weeks later walked out 155.

I appreciate the comments. I contribute a lot of my gains and fat loss to having a friend to workout with and we push each other really hard I can say that a lot of my body fat was in my stomach. I had the typical beer belly, however I don't drink. I just really liked eating a lot, and it didn't matter what I ate.
I decided something had to change with my lifestyle. Here is my diet I have been on for the 7 weeks.
Breakfast: I take 2 Proelite fatburner pills, 1 cup of oatmeal with raisins made with water, banana,1/2 cup strawberries
30 minutes before I workout I drink my BPI Pump HD Drink
Workout: Immediately after workout I drink my protein shake(65grams of protein)
Lunch: I eat a piece of chicken with white rice
Mid Day: I eat a bowl of noodles plain
Dinner: Usually eat a steak with veggies and another Protein shake.

And the most important is I drink nothing but Water and I cut out ALL my Breads.

I'm not trying to be a dick here but I call either BS or the staff at your gym has no idea how to use body fat calipers.

At 192lbs and 23% BF that means you had:
44.16lbs of fat and 147.84lbs of lbm

At 202lbs and 13.5% BF that means you're now at:
27.27lbs of fat and 174.73lbs lbm.

In 7 wks that means you you lost 17lbs of fat and gained 40lbs of muscle?? No way. Like I said you either have the worst staff at your gym or you're trolling. Again not trying to be a douche but 5+lbs of muscle a week WHILE SUPIMULTANEOUSLY LOSING 17lbs of fat is not happening, even with AAS.

Honestly I was a little skeptical myself. I have no idea how body fat is measured( the math involved) and I am having to take the word of the gym staff individual. If it makes a difference, when they did my body fat the second time around was right after I finished working out and they did mention it may not be correct due to my muscles being pumped up. Also I am not trolling either.LOL, This is why I made the post for others to see. This is why I titled the thread
"Typical Gains" since I was unsure, and it is obvious something is off.I can have them do another measurement on a off day and see what the difference is. The good thing is that I can see the changes and I am accomplishing what I want to see in my body. Also I train at one of the Gyms Matt Duval was involved in (RIP).

Skeptical and impossible are two different things. Again I don't mean to be rude but these gains are just not possible even with a hardcore AAS cycle let alone a beginner test e cycle at 500mg/wk. there are a few different ways to measure body fat like the bodybug, hydrostatic testing, body fat calipers, etc. since you did it at the gym I'm going to assume calipers. This is an extremely inaccurate method and is very dependent on the abilities of the person taking the measurements. They'll take skinfold samples from the suprailiac and possibly other spots.

It doesn't change your bodyfat levels if you take a measurement before a workout or after. The only thing that migh have changed is water weight and that's not measured with calipers. What is more than likely is one or both of the BF measurements was wrong. I'm not dismissing your gains or accomplishments but those numbers just aren't possible in 7wks. I'm glad you're not trolling and are happy with your results, more power to you, but somewhere along the way the numbers got mixed up or wrong. Happy to hear you like your results regardless of the numbers!

You are correct, it was done with calipers, and the individual was having a hard time pinching my skin in some area's so I will chock this up as not a correct BF measurement, more or less a guide that is maybe close at best.
However my before and current measurements are correct other than the BF Percentage. I had my friend I workout with do measurements with a tape. I do have a before pic and I will have to get a after pic for you. I would like to get a correct and true BF measurement however. Any place that can do that that dos this this all the time? Thanks again for the help.

I don't see anyway you have grown on the amount of calories you are eating.... 2 inches of growth on biceps and quads based the amount of food your are eating is insane.... I can see you loosing 3 inches around the waste based on the calorie deficit but I would think your muscles would flatten out.... Before and after pics will be insane with that type of growth....

Yeah post some pictures and write on piece of paper "steroidilogy" take a picture holding that paper . And if its true what you are saying if you prove that i am going to bark naked on the street and record that shit and post it on you tube i swear to God ! I dint know if its tren working right now but this shit talk like is going On my nerves .

A 2-inch growth in your arms generally means a 20+lb gain in overall body mass.

The numbers just aren't matching up....
