Urgent help muscle knot in my chest

so for the last 3 to 4 weeks ive had this pain in my left pec if i pull my eft arm over to my right side i get this pop crack right on the inside of the pec near the middle of my sternum. my mom who is a nurse told me that it could be a muscle knot and its building up lactic acid so i tried messaging it and that made the pain even worse now. tomorrow im going to see the sports doc here at my school but hes a little weird and im going to make an appointment with another real sports medicine doctore any help would be awesome should i ice it or put an icey hot on it thanks guys.not on a cycle btw but will be starting saturday so..... i need help

never heard of this, id like to know more about this also, i dont advise doing a cycle just incase u do need surgery, id wait till u find out whats wrong and how to fix it
 
Rub some dirt on it... ha. I knew i shuld have take sports med instead of nutrition!

Haha I did take sports med but I just fucked around and got an A cuz the teacher like my performance on the feild
 
Haha hell yeah. Idk bro, Ive had knots in the pit of my elbow before and just massaged em out. Never drew more pain to me though. Id definitely get it check just to be on the safe side like you are.

Turns out I tore the cartilage connecting my rib to my sternum. So looks like I'll be out for a month and my cycle be pushed back

Bro you have the exact same problem as me! Your the only other person ive heard of having this! And I have good news and bad news for ya. Good news is its not going to take a month to heal, I say a full week at maximum. Bad news is at any time it can get aggravated and you could be out a few days.

The two exercises that cause it for me are heavy weighted dips, and if I go too heavy on seated dumbbell over head press (I think it only happens on this one if I arch my back in the seat)

Man, any idea what caused this? Curious, haven't heard much of this kind of injury before - not very common to my knowledge.
 
As shitty as it is I am happy that I'm not on cycle because I would hate to have to end it in the middle. As for how I did it I really have no idea I think it may have been from either flys or on the dip machine. Thanks for the support guys and I hope this is as fast of a recovery as you said it would be
