i am week 3 into a Anavar (var) cycle...i am aware that you should stop it to eliminate water retention..my issue...i have 2 shows...5 weeks a part. would dropping to 5 mg during this time do the trick? i want to keep my hardness for both shows. i have no ill effects as of now..but am starting my full 10mg dose today. should i just play it by ear?

You could drop it to 5 mg if wanted. What I would also do add in some proviron and nolvadex for the last two of three weeks before the show. Just be careful with th proviron, its a powerful androgen the will harden you up as well as lower the estrogen levels in your body slightly. Because it is very androgenic one 25 mg tab should be enough harden you up, also because you would only use it for 2-3 weeks sides shouldn't be much of a concern unless you start increasing the dosage. Nolvadex is an estrogen antagonist which will help harden you up as well. I would only use 10-20 mg of nolvadex.

so basically when you take ana Anavar (var) and when it is used as a "cutter" what is really meant is that when combined with a diet and cardio, Anavar (var) will keep and promote lean body mass with NO water retention.. As the muscles harden up, fat is actually squeezed out of the dense parts of the muscle.. so then as fat is squeezed out, your diet and cardio will burn it off, so basically ana Anavar (var) can AID in fat burning by creating tighter harder muscles..

as far as the anavar goes I would take it all the way through to the next show but lower the dosage to 5mg for the first 2 out of the 5 weeks between the shows then up it to 10 mg for the last three weeks. When you do your first show use that as an experiment to see how the dosages affect your look. Most females really won't retain much water if any at all on anavar, but you won't know until you try the dosage. Also use the first show to see what kind of a change proviron and nolvadex will get you. Since your new to Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) its hard to tell you exactly what to take prior to a show but what I listed as far as the proviron, nolvadex and anavar will work very well for most people. i run my Anavar (var) right through my show... i barely hold water from it. Last show i did not even have to use a diruetic... but IMO, i would NOT stop the Anavar (var) prior to your show... you need consistency and if you stop it before your show, your body may have a reaction that you had not planned for... Just keep with the flow!
There are many other ways to blow out your water... don't mess with your hormones that close to a show..

thanks everyone...since Im new to this....this season prep will certainly be differnet from those in years past. i am starting to diet this week...so with that and the Anavar (var) increase, I hope to start seeing some changes. Since ECA was banned in the nattie orgs I used to compete in, i plan to use it now since Im NPC. Is 14 -15 weeks to early to start? I was thinking of doing 3 weeks then 1 off with Lipo 6. any feedback would be aprreciated!
also..those ladies that have used nolva....i m concerned about the after effects. can you share your experiences?
