Veins and Glutes...problem

I am currently running my first cycle of injections...I am exactly 3 weeks in tomorrow.

Test C @ 600mg a week...(2 shots a week)

Pinning with 23g 1.5inch needles

Im using outer upper part of glutes (following spotinjections.com) or ventrogluteal for my injections.

I keep aspirating blood. The last 3 to 4 shots actually its taking me several attempts to not aspirate blood. Can some people just naturally have more veins and blood vessels in certain areas? Its really starting to give me bad pinning anxiety because im so damn worried about shooting some into a vein.

Maybe its time to switch it up and try quads or delts?

Just curious if anyone has had similar issues with glutes or has any extra advice.

Try your quads....u will find its a Hell of a lot easier.

If u ever find blood don't pull out and try another spot....just go deeper or more shallow with your pin

Just did my quad for the first time yesterday. I highly recommend it over glutes. So much easier to do. It's worlds easier for me because my hands aren't real steady so glutes were difficult to do. Just much more comfortable to pin quads.

Touched a nerve halfway in, turned a bit, pushed the full 1.5" in (I have big quads). No problem. This was around 9am. At 7pm or so, my leg was pretty sore. I woke up in the middle of the night to take a piss and it was very sore. Woke up for work and it was a little sore at first, but not too bad. 12:30pm now and I barely notice it.

try all muscles and choose the most convenient one, though I think glutes are the best
regarding blood in the aspirate , try go a little deeper and if you get any.
