I got a test done because I was having a lot of symptoms like brain fog, fatigue 24/7, trouble sleeping, sometimes I would lose my hard during sex. I am not sure though because it was my first time with that specific woman and could have been nervous. Hard to concentrate and get things done!
Here were my results...
Testosterone, Total, LC/MS 416.7 ng/dL 348.0-1197.0 BN
Just an FYI I took this test at 4 PM...Also I am on a cut of 1800 calories. Even when I was on a bulk though I felt the same symptoms.
I am going to get a doctors appointment but I am not sure how to bring this up with him. I took the test independently out of curiousity.
I have been lifting for a year with nothing to show for it as well even though I have improved form. I am on the PHAT program working out 5 days a week and lifting as heavy as possible. I was making great gains intially but I have hit a plateau.
I am also 22 so 416 is a crazy low level...I know total testerone is a useless test and I need other things checked.
I am not keen on jumping on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but I am told that there is probably a reason for my low t. And I may not need testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and be able to get those levels up. Is this a reasonable expectation?
I just feel awful...I don't want to live with these symptoms anymore.
