VETS..how to implement hack squats into leg routine?

My current leg routine is 4 sets 8-12 reps of
leg ext.
squats
leg press
seated calf
deads for hams
standing calf raises
lying or sitting ham curls

I sometimes cut it to 3 sets where I'm doing 8 reps the heaviest I can.

I'd like to implement hack squats, but don't know if I should sub for leg presses, just add, rotate each wk. or what. I've done them in the past, and they kill...the pain is pleasure since it works, I just don't want to "overtrain"...I do all legs same day, preferred to splitting quad/ham for 2 days.

Also what feet width is recommended?
I usually go close or shoulder width...works well for the quads.

get rid of the leg extensions and put the hack squats in
you already have a monster workout there, if you are doing 4 sets of each , that is like 28 sets, pretty big day.
a lot of peeps will probably tell you that you are doing to much, but if its working for ya........
 
I feel that hacks are a much better quad developer than leg presses and leg ex's..so i would ditch one of those and get hacks in there..make sure you get deep..feet should be a little closer together and point the toes out slightly..getting deeper will yield more results than piling the plates on and using a 2 inch rom
 
dont ditch any of the exercises....just rotate them in. maybe dump squats one week for hacks, then drop ext for hacks the next week......mix it up
