WOW..thats about all i can say..its quite expensive but well worth the money if you want to see how to properly execute box squats..there is some assistance work shown..most of the training is "circa-max" meaning near max weights/and or tensions with bands and chains..the video was filmed leading up to the 2004 arnold classic..its not broken down into the traditional wsb of ME and DE days..
but how would you like to see 3 1000lb squatters doing a box squat workout?..paul childress mike ruggiera and chuck V..what amazes me is that CV goes 220 or so and the other 2 (although awesome squatters as well) are SHW using teh same weight's CV was much more explosive off the box..it was crazy..i dont know where the other two were in terms of their training but still it was impressive..all in all i thoght it was a great vid not much in terms of dialogue..just great footage of one of the best squatters

Chuck is simply AMAZING!!!! He is not one to pattern training after though. he does a LOT more volume than most of Dave's and Loius guys and does things kind of his own way, which is great, but probably too much for me and you. Circa-max training is for extremely advanced guys also, so most should be avoiding it unless they are there.

chuck weighs close to 250 while training. as do most of the wpo 220s. they dehydrate the last few days before the meet to make weight (48 hour weigh in) then are well back into the 240s on meet day.

but none the less he is a freaking beast. however we got travis mash here. now theres another beast. travis and chuck pull and squat close enough but travis got a 700lb bench to go with his other lifts while chuck struggles with 500.

PB he was looking very lean in the vid and it was a few weeks from the arnold..
im a fan of Mash as well..i hear ya on the benching thing with CV..

let me know when mash makes a vid im a buyer
:)

mash trains west side MM mix. he only lives an hour or so from here.

yeah all those guys look lean at 245. when they make weight they could step on stage no prob. kyle trains at 245 or so (around 10% bf too) and weighed in at 216 at the wpo. he was 239 the next day and that was 24 hours before meet time.

travis stays around 250ish as well. he said he was gonna do the arnold @ 220 then move up to the 242s after that. he said making weight is getting tougher and tougher. hes about 31 or so. chuck is 40. kyle is 23 and has totaled over 2200 in the gym already. i am gonna predict that with in two years kyle will be the 220er to beat. esp if travis moves up and kyle can keep making weight for another few years.

damn your boy is strong..keep us updated with him..thats cool
i cant believe ive had my head up my ass all these years lol my training is so different now and with one purpose (get my total up)!!!!!!

and that means the weight on your bar . im happy for all my friends and nice people i know when they lift well and im happy when a asshole bombs out :shoot2: but the only thing that really matters is the weight loaded for me . theres some pretty heavy hitters in this forum with VERY respectable numbers but i doubt any will win the wpo finals , that doesnt mean shit to most of us we arent competeing against louie , halbert, goggins , or anyone else just that low life son of a bitch they call the bar , that bastard had the nerve to challenge me and im gonna kick its ass .

well get fired up and bend some steel big guy. 296 last week dawgystyle. thats 19lbs. and i am eating for this meet. i missed last weeks bench workout. technical difficulties arose. so we got two full weeks of training left then our openers on the last week. i am more interested than anyone to see what i hit. i dont have a clue as to wher ei am at. using a different training regimine this time. ill know week after next on our last heavy triples/dbls day.
