Wanting to split doses, need twice as many needles/syringes

I see RUI sells what I'm looking for as far as syringe bodies and the 2 different guage/lengths needles I want for my TRT injections, are they a reliable place to buy from? Are these essentially the same types of needles the doc prescribes us? I see so many offered with "blunt tip"...and have no idea what they means other than it doesn't sound pleasant to bury in my leg and I would rather have a "sharp tip" lol.

Just wanted a heads up before I placed an order.

Just get them at the pharmacy where you get your Test for TRT. I tell them I want to buy a box of 100 because it is cheaper and easier than coming back for refils all the time. I get them without any problems.

Tried that already...no go without a script due to junkies

Is that state law or pharmacy policy? My local walgreens would not sell them to me but my local Walmart would.

I don't think IA requires a prescription for syringes by state law, so you may just be encountering store policy. You could try calling other pharmacies - offer to show your prescription for injectable medication.

Failling that, i've had good results with eastcoastmedicalsupply.com

I'll call out there tomorrow and find out, maybe it was just the needles they cant sell without a scipt, but the gal might have just lumped them all together since when I pick mine up it's a syringe already loaded with a needle....I told her the syringes are find, but I want 18ga needles from drawing the oil and 22gax1" for injecting, can I just buy the needles? no you have to have a doctors prescription. Which is fine, the doc I'm seeing is pretty much agreeing to let me do as I want, I sent an email to request the 2 needle sizes above and when I went to pick them up, it was more preloaded syringes with 22gax1" needles....so at least I now have plenty for the once a week shots I'm doing and worst case, once I run out of the spear sized 18ga needles my local doc gave me, I can use the 23ga needles I have from my initial script for my shots...just take longer to draw obviously.

Was just hoping there was a reliable/safe place I could just buy my own since I will be doing 2 doses a week once my doc and I are happy with a T level. I actually think this 100mg/wk is fine since I feel 180* different than I did 2 months ago before starting TRT, but being an American male, I also wouldn't mind maybe trying 150mg/wk just to give that a test run to see if 100mg is good, maybe 150mg would be even better:) I'll check your link, thank you very much.

I bought some 23ga x 1" from RUI to split my dose since my script was for 21ga x 1" and they were a lot more expensive at my pharmacy. Works fine but a bit of a pain to draw with the 23's. Been working just fine for me. I was buying something else from them anyway so it was convenient just to add to my order. My doc was a little hesitant to go up from 80mg/wk to 100mg/wk even though my numbers were still at the low end of range, says it can blow up on you quickly. Not sure how true that is, might just be a psych trick to keep me form going rogue on my dosage.

You are going to Inject with 22g? I wouldn't want to go bigger than 23g.

You will get very tired of 22G. I buy and even order what ever I need for syringes at Wal-Mart . It costs me $10.58 for a box of 100 3mL syringe and what ever Gauge needle I want. I only use 23G for my oil base and 25G for my water base compounds. Sometimes a 22G to draw with but I don't like the size of the whole when I use a 20mL vial. I have had leaks when puncturing it every day.

I liked to get a real deep injection in my glutes so I used a 22G 1-1/2" . I was doing high wkly doses and would inject 3-4 times a wk. I was also using Prop so I was a pin cushion. I just use a 1" 23g as I said and use a 25G 5/8". the problem gets to be your body only will take so many injections before you get too much scare tissue. I recommend to go smaller for your future. To each his own though. Then I also use my delts and quads and a 22G or 1-1/2 " is too long and the 22G hurts at those sites.

I recommend you look to the long run for scare tissue. IMHOP

Most guys prefer using 23 or 25 guage to inject. Goes in easier.

I have a bunch of 23ga x 1 1/2" and its just easier for wife to stab me with the 1" length so she can bury it vs holding some back with the 1 1/2" simply because i have almost no fat on my quads. When my sil came over to show wife and i how to do it she was the one that recommened the 1" length.

We'll see what happens..let the wife get more experience so maybe she can only stab it and leave 1/2" sticking out

In another thread someone suggested cutting off 1" (or desired length) from the tip of the needle cover of a 1.5" needle and then putting it back on, leaving the desired length exposed.
I thought that was pretty clever.

Don't "bury" the needle entirely. Leave a bit showing so that you have something to grab onto with pliers in case it accidentally breaks off inside you.

Wal-Mart has a no ask policy when buying syringes, I do not have an issue buying them at CVS since I do have a script for my Test but have bought them many times at Wal-mart for my B12 without any issues.
