So, getting all healed up. Might have to stay on Warfrin, ( Coumadin ) blood thinners. During this hole mess I have had to tell my doc I use. Just got the hole self image talk, didn't say much els. I have read that test will slow your clotting time. Just wondering if anyone has or is on blood thinners and using gear. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have aterial fiberlation??
I know theirs benefits running a baby apirin on cycle, but warfrin is the real deal.
Why didn't he put you on prodaxia out of curiosity?...same results I beleive without the regular blood work.

Yes, some gear will thicken your blood and test is one of them, but it certainly isn't the worst. I used to teach ems and worked in a few hospitals and warfarin is no joke. Shit sucks to be on

I have had aortic valve replacement in 2012 and went with a mechanical valve hence warfarin came with that decision. Dr wants an INR of 2-3. Before I went back on trt it took 3-4 mg/day of warfarin to maintain a 2-3 INR. Now, on gear I only need 1-2 mg/ day to have the same Inr .

I researched and found my own monitor and test strips to check it every week. I have to call in my results to the company that make the test kit/ monitor every 2 weeks. Basically I self administer the dose to bring me in range. My doc agreed it's not rocket science and allows me to go this route. If I'm out of range for any reason, she would call me to change my dose. So it's always in range when I call it in even if it's out of range when I test it. Less hassle thus way

Warfarin is still used as rat poison. A gross overdose in a human will cause internal bleeding and very soon death. It's no fucking joke for sure
My other option was a tissue valve that wears out every 12-15 years and needs replacement. Fuck that! If you've ever had you'd chest(sternum cut clear thru from top to bottom if guarantee you'd only do it once

Had a blood clot in my leg, along with a sup vena cava issue. Im thinking switching to xeltelto. Did you tell your doc you were using? How often did you check your INR when you went on cycle

No doc doesn't know. I test once a week. 2 low and blood clot/stroke possibility. 2 high and there's a risk of internal bleeding

Hey thanks for the info, just didn't want to hurt myself.. With all my reading, test limits your clotting a little. I was nervous is went the other direction. So if anything this would be good for my situation

Mine is a life sentence, if yours is a temporary situation I would hold off unless you have a way of testing your Inr at fairly low cost. Dr offices get a premium to monitor Coumadin use

Hey. Need to pipe in on this one.
I have had a deep Vein Thrombosis and warfarin treatment in the past. Due to injury or blood clotting irregularity, if you are on a thinner like this, there is a very good reason for it. That is priority one.
Question is, do AAS/TEST effect blood clotting etc... enough to be concerned about. I would do some serious research on this interaction before every going within a mile of an AAS cycle of any kind.

IMHO, elevated hemocrit, effects on clotting, and other effects that TEST can have is pretty serious.

What if it has a counter effect on the thinning at minimum? What happens if you get a clot/DVT in your leg, lung, or brain? Nothing good, thats for sure.

Thinners are very serious shit. You may never have an issue, but the risks just went way way way up for you if you are on AAS compared to standard users.

Risk vs. gain. What do you have to lose? Lots I bet.

I appreciate any input. They are not sure yet if I will have to stay on, have a block vena cava. They think maybe from an injury when I was younger. So just kind of doin a lot of research. A lot of the reading I have been doing is with patients who are on TRT and also taking blood thinner. Just wated to get a first hand account if I'm the only guy out there. Seems like if a guy would check his labs once a week, things would be ok. Again any kind of input is good input for me. I'm just researching, so in 4 weeks if I choose to start again, I have some knowledge. Thanks again
