Was Prescribed Test

Hello everyone, new here.

After several blood tests showing test levels at 315-325 my primary care gave me the script for test. I did not want the gel, as I have no issue with shots. I'm 46, 5'10 and weigh 190. He suggested one shot per month but warned of a crash so I insisted on 1 every two weeks. The more I read here I may do 1 per week. He did not however mention any other drugs to take along with this that are mentioned here. I brought up Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) but he did not seem like he would intrested in prescribing that so I didn't push it. Would I need to go now to a Test clinic and get re-tested all over again to get this?
I also read about balls shrinking. Can I expect that with the injections only? Read on here about Arimidex. Is that something I get from him. I just want to do this right and would perfer to keep my balls.

This is a weird post I must say. First, if your Test levels were in the 300s then you're in range. The range is 250- 1100 But let's assume you complained about being tired or lack of energy or sexual drive then you are in the lower part of the range so a "Prescription" is justified. I noticed you used the word "script" instead of prescription that usually means that you r in some type of health profession, Anyway if your physician did write u a script for Test any questions should go to him or her that went to Medical School better than here. Test once a month isnt gona do anthing! Try more like once a week 1cc (200mg) and you're gona feel like a teenager with energy and wanting to bang anything with a heartbeat.

As far as Arimedex? well what does the script say?? 200mg a wk wont make your balls shrink.

HCG sucks! why would you want that?? I've only heard thats good to clean u up after a Hard cycle.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I searched for all the negatives about it before asking my question. I ran into a balls shrinking thread first and it freaked me out. I use script as an abbreviation, not medical field. Yes, have been a little tired, lack of sex drive as well. Good to know 200mg a week won't make my balls shrink. Thanks for the input.

Definitely take a shot once a week, not monthly. If he doesn't wanna write a script for HCG, get it on your own, stick around here and you'll learn how to. That'll keep your balls at a normal size. I wouldn't start the arimidex until you get blood work done. See where your estro is and then go from there. You might not need an AI.

Most testosterone will come in a vial with so many ml and it will be labeled as x mg per ml. It comes in various strengths - mine comes from a compounding pharmacy and, for example, is 200 mg per ml and comes in a 10 ml vial.

I know that I would need to inject 1 ml to get the prescribed dose of 200 mg. If I want to split my dose in half and inject twice weekly for a more even ride and to avoid the crash I would simply inject .5 ml which would provide 100 mg each injection.

Also, assuming the dosage I take gets me back to 700-800 levels, as a moderate weight lifter what type of growth can I expect. I lift 4 days a week now, not real heavy any more due to creeks n cracks :)
My body fat is around 22-23% and would love to bring that down, will the test help as well.
 
You will see huge gains in strength and size. I'm 43 but struggling with my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) now. First few weeks felt amazing, now I feel the same as when I started. E2 was 61 so I started in liquidex, (ai) and seems to help. The boys have shrunk a ton and I am now looking at trying to find Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) to help that out. 100 mg/wk and trust me your bills will shrink.

I can inject whatever I want, but would run out before I was supposed to. Supposed to take blood after 30 days to check level and re-evaluate. maybe I will follow what vial says and have him increase. Tell him I'm not feeling it...
 
Got my furst shot today. Curious what to expect in the next few days? When will I start seeing results physique wise? I am taking through a DR for low levels, so not going to exceed what I need to get back to normal levels...
 
I'm having a similar experience. I went to the doctor and tested just below 300. I'm 29 yo, outta shape (pretty bad) and never been in shape. I'm currently 6'1 230 - 33 percent body fat. The doctor says my low test levels are probably caused by my weight and bad sleeping habits.

He has me on 145 mg once a week. So - if i start hitting the gym - and believe me i'll have to start with the bar with no weights - when should i see myself start to look like a normal 29yo.

I'll admit when I'm wrong....ScottyB is right in that 200mg/wk WILL shrink your balls But then again unless your planning on having kidz (you are not getting any younger at 46 yrs old) what do you want huge balls for? The ladies just want it long and hard...they could care less of huge nasty dragging balls.

The shrinkige is not a BiG deal to me but if it is to you or you do planning on having kidz then the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) will help your balls get bk to normal and have babies.

And leave the Arimedex for last bc you may not need it.
