water retention on trt

I just sent Chip my blood work. I am just starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and need to learn a lot. One question I wanted to ask him and forgot was concerning water retention. I'm already on toprol for HBP so water retention is something I am concerned about. How do you guys guard against this?

drink lots of water and i use an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during cycle..

On a standard testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dosage of 100-150mg/week you should not have problems.

Now if he's putting you on an actual cycle, then that's a different story.

My doc put my on 250mg per week. Do you think I should have any issues with water retention? Also, whats the highest dosage you have heard of for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Im starting to think 250mg per week is a little on the high side.

250mg is a bit high for trt.. and yes you will hold some water..
