Weight lifting belt ideas?

I used to use one and still have it it's really been a long time but I tried it out cause lately my lower back has been my weak link.
It's a leather belt and it's the wide style.
I see they make them very narrow as well.
I see they also make them with a cam lock clipping buckle ..... expensive tho.
Should I just use my belt? Or get the narrow one?
Or doesn't seem to matter either way?

Honestly, the only time that I would use a belt is for very heavy lifts. Wearing belts hinder you from building a stronger core. It like using lifting straps. They keep you from building strong forearm grip strength but are helpful for heavy lifts. My advice, work on that lower back. Judging by your avi, you have solid abs. If you are set that you are going to wear a belt, The ones with velcro seem to give more support the the old style leather and buckle type if you are going to use it for the whole workout.

Good Luck

Ok thanks.
I have to stretch more too. Hams get right and I guess it pulls on my lower back muscles.
