hey ladies i am looking to gain some strength but i dont really want to gain alot of weight.
current training schedule;
cardio(distance runs) 3 times a week
weights(arms, abs, back and legs) 4 times a week
was thinking of running a cycle of VAR
Any ideas?
i have been on a var cycle for 8 weeks. love it. i started 5, 7.5 10 and max at 15. i am precontest, so diet and training are in place. i have gained a fair amount of muscle, had no bloat or any sides. im 5'1 and 114lbs.

i was thinking of running a cycle of var by itself since its is going to be my first cycle. i have my diet in check( alot of will power lol) so thier should not be a problem there. i know of people that think that just because some steroids can be used to CUT up some ones physique that that is what there primary job is but if people dont work out and have a disciplined diet they really could end up looking like a teletubby lol

although anavar is excellent for strength gains, i'd like to see your training split first- are you TRAINING for strength? if you aren't, var shouldn't be your first choice. try lowering your reps and upping the amount of rest in between sets. keep your calories the same and you shouldn't get any bigger. i think you'll be surprised at how much stronger you become just by changing your training routine...

sorry about delay, yes i am training for strength and i have been increasing the weight with less reps for a couple of months now.
so far i have had good gains in strength but i am still not satisfied and so i am looking at taking a cycle of var( still looking around for optimum cycle)
obviously i have to make sure that when i do start a cycle everything is in order lol
