I know i was stuck at 195 with around a 12%Bf until age 28 or so.......I could always increase my strenght with gear but my weight just seemed to not budge. I would fluctuate between 188-195 until....

Around age 30, for some strange reason my weight shot up to 225 with "ALOT" more bf %. Was it age,metabolism,diet...

I'm 32 now...you tell me!

Damn, you're ancient!

Yes but look at the picture of JohnnyB in his avitar. He looks almost as awesome as "The Myth". Hey JB, how many months ago was that picture of you taken?

I think your ability to gain naturally tapers off as your natural test levels go down, but another factor is that it is easier to gain when you are new to training and farther from your genetic potential.

I can't pinpoint when things went "downhill", I would say late twenties. I could get away with more then.

But I am in better shape now at 34, just because I train like clockwork now, no extended vacations since 1997. Plus my diet is a lot better and I don't drink much at all any more. I was never a problem drinker, but even moderate drinking is empty calories and really puts the kabosh on protein synthesis.

Around the age of 30-32 I noticed my bumps and bruises werent healing like they used to... however.. in the gym I am still as strong as I ever was when I was younger.. I do train a lot less intense than before (workouts are done in 40 mins) and I have noticed that my cardio is a lot harder to get up to par.... it happens to all of us.. hm....GH ???

I will be 31 this December,I still feel young and I am still making gains. In the last year or so I noticed myself aging as far as hairloss goes and I noticed a few wrinkles.:( The most noticeable problem I have noticed lately is getting out of bed,I feel really sore in the mornings and my joints crack alot when I first get out of bed.

at 45 i feel stronger and am more alert and better in bed than i have ever been. it does take longer for pains to heal but overall you come to grips to what you can and can't do. props to iron.
