There are some very educated people on
this site and I respect that. I am able to find new information and different opinions every day. I think Ology is the best board of it's kind.
With that said, who here works in the fitness industry? What is your job? Who has competed? Who are the certified personal trainers? Are you a BB, power lifter, amateur or pro athlete, or just go to the gym? Do you own a gym? Do you hold or are working towards any degrees relevant?

I am 30. Started BB when I was 17 at 5'9 145lbs. I am at 12% 205 now. I worked as a independent personal trainer for 5 years in Orange County, CA.
I have competed twice in the last 4 years
as a middleweight, placed 3rd and 5th.

im 24 been lifting since high school off and on, ive had points where ive stopped and started back up, have had some good and bad experience with cycling, never been as serious about it as now things have changed. ive quit the drinking and smokin, all partyin has stopped, married and a baby...lol.. really lifting is the only thing i CAN DO. but i strive to be the absolute best at whatever i do so i try to be as knoledgeble as possible ppl ask me alot of questions in the gym they see my results and hard work....i think i have alot of good info for new aas users, but on the other hand im still am learning a great deal from my peers as well.

6 years training the last two I have been focusing on bbing. I competed in powerlifting for 3 years. I will be competing in BBing in July.
I have my ACE certification, I used to work at my universities gym as a personal trainer and cardio instructor.
I am currently working toward my medical degree, I already have my veterinary medicine degree. I have been cycling for the past 3 years, some while I was PLing, for strength and now more for physique.

So yeah still a newbie.

Almost done BA in health sciences, going for my Masters in nutrition as soon as I graduate.

As of right now all Im certified to do is CPR and Poison control ;) lol

has posted about something about themselves on this thread. Anyone one else?

you get sexier with every post. :D

I've been training for 18 years now. Still earning everyday, but I'm an old school thinker. Don't fix what ain't broke. Tried the personal training/fitness consulting biz for a while, but don't like working with lazy fucks. Unfortunately to me, i don't think certs/degrees mean shit in this game. Books can only teach you so much. In this game, to get any real experience, you gotta DO IT. That's why i don't post studies and shit like that. Not knocking any PTs out there, cuz there are some good ones, but most are dorks who spent 5K on a NPTI cert, and they don't know how to do shit except try and look good in the gym. Kind of like seeing a fat aerobics instructor. To me, if you are not in badass shape, you should even be allowed to train people. I gotta respect you for you to train me.

btw, I'm a professional underwater BB stacker. Been pro going on 14 years now. National Champion in '98,'99,'01.
