Egg Beaters because they are easier than egg whites? I wonder how many egg whites=1.5 cups. Well, that's easy to find out.

2 packets Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal
So it is okay to use this instead of the old fashioned oats+honey you listed in your other post? 'cause those packets are a lot easier. You use regular or low sugar?

10 oz. Top Sirloin Steak
Do you cook these fresh or make a few ahead of time or what?

12 oz. Baby Red Potato
Curious. Are the red potatoes better than other potatoes, or do you just like them more? You season them or mash them or anything?

DirkMoneyshot said:
3/4 cup Fried Rice
This is something that I love. You make it yourself or purcahse it in the frozen food section or what?

Sorry for all the questions. Trying to learn.

I'll put this up - After a long layoff from a broken hand (4 1/2 months along with two surgeries) i finally got back in the gym on monday. I'll be going full swing in a couple weeks. I'm getting married in June and I will be in deep sh*t if i don't look good for pictures. This is the diet i'll be starting out on. Can anyone guess what meal i'll be working out after or before???

Meal 1:

Here your are getting opinions from several of the top trainers in the United states. Everyone trains national level competitors or professionals.

Read and get back to me.

Ok have read them first time on site but seems good.
What i got from it is that people focus too much on the pwo meal when you grow through the whole day so they are all important. Correct?

I believe -well because its true that- my pre workout meal is more important than pwo and this will fuel my workout and help with repair as i take it 1.5-2 hrs before training and so it will still be present to be used.
Thus the emphasis on malto and dextrose is not as important as people make it out to be.

However they did not seem to say there was anything bad with it just think it superior over other foods. Correct?

I take malto dextro and whey pwo.
First I love the taste, second I am starving pwo and need something to eat third my stomach is slightly queasy pwo so dont handle solids as well. Foruth i do not get home for 30-40 minutes pwo with travel and shower so it convenient. I know you say waxy maize is better but I dont have a clue what that is and have never seen it in the shops here so why I would be willing to try it dont know if i can get it or what it is like.
So while I am not haling malto as a nutrition god it is convenient for me.

my question is then is it grand to take then or do you believe there is some harm in spiking insulin everytime pwo.

My current pwo (have modified it a bit)is 3 meals, straight away 25g dextrose 30g malto 30g whey.
40 mins later (when i get home) oats and chicken breast
1hr later pasta and chicken breast then back to normal eating every 2-3 hrs.
What do you think?
Thanks

I'll use lanas egg whites or Egg whites int- and there is about 36 - 39g protein in 1 1/2 cups or about 12 egg whites.

If you can go with the old fashion + honey, then do so (honey is a very good carb) if not then use the packets, For me you can see there is basically no sugar in my diet so the little I get from the regular packets will be fine.

Do you cook these fresh or make a few ahead of time or what?

I like cooked eggs if i'm eating something like 3 or 4, but a dozen and i don't have that kind of appetite. So I just drink them.

Yes Red Potatos and Yukon gold are a much better carb then Idaho (don't eat these) it has everything to do with the Starch.

I actually make it myself - It includes (3/4 cup Cold White Rice, 2 egg yolks, Sesamee Seeds, Low Sodium Soy Sauce, and a tiny amount of I can't believe its not butter).

Sorry for all the questions. Trying to learn.

I drink them and yes they are pasturized - I have never had a problem this way. I couldn't eat a dozen egg whites. I have a fairly small appetite. If it was up to my body I would only eat 2 big meals / day.

This would be correct

Malto and Dextro are nothing more then supp companies using a cheap carbohydrate source in their products and making you think they were better. Especially in MRP powders

However they did not seem to say there was anything bad with it just think it superior over other foods. Correct?

Since I know all of them fairly well, I know none of them that actually use Dex/Malto (trop has his own way of designing a pre/during/post workout formula) with simple carbs / pro - but he uses gatorade during and waxy maize before and after. Otherwise everyone else does not I believe.

If your stomach is queesy then wait till you get home the 30 - 40 minutes is not going to cause you to go and lose muscle. Your being way to Anal about this. Don't get me wrong I thought the same things when I was younger. However it just doesn't happen like that. Waxy Maize is a product like Vitargo, you should probably have it as Europe was the first to use it.

my question is then is it grand to take then or do you believe there is some harm in spiking insulin everytime pwo.

As for your schedule I won't necessarly comment on that- I've given my opinion on the subject. To me what you do is very time consuming and probably won't have a great effect over just eating a large solid meal when you get home.

Eat oatmeal before or after - eat rice before or after - eat potato before or after....

It won't make a hell of a lot of beans. What you do throughout the whole day is the most important thing.

If you do have the time though the pwo meal i've put on the board is a nice addition to your diet.

Thanks man
